Could This Be Why Obastard is Being such a Jerk?
Now | Me

Posted on 10/08/2013 9:32:32 AM PDT by Cyber Liberty

OK, it's a vanity. Deal.

I haven't heard this possibility brought up, but that might be because I haven't read every post. It's been a very busy week, and Obastard is doing his best to overflow the piss-off bucket. But, a thought dawned upon me yesterday when I was reading a story in IBD about the next big scary deadline coming up, the Debt-Limit that we're supposed to hit on 10/17.

I think Obastard is being a total pr**k about shutting down parks, landmarks and private property because he's building up cred for a threat he intends to pull next week. He's lost a lot of credibility with his threats recently because, at least on the foreign scene, he's been shown to be rather, uh, "toothless."

What's the big threat? We're all expecting it so I don't think I'm shocking anybody when I say he intends to deliberately default on our bond interest payments. It's well known that he doesn't have to do that, and any normal business would ensure the bond-holders get serviced first, but I think he's planning to stiff the folks holding the debt, and that's us. Yes, the Chinese will take it in the shorts, but I think the Fed holds the biggest chunk of the debt these days. At least, they're the only fools buying it lately, since the S&P downgrade.

He's infuriating everybody right now for the same reason a battleship bombards an enemy before an invasion: To "soften us up." He would rather create mayhem the likes we haven't seen in my lifetime than try to get spending under control. He wants to deliberately crash the economy, and this is his big chance, all the while blaming the Republicans, especially TEA Partiers. We're all Emmanuel Goldstein now.

I see a golden opportunity to put troops in the streets, and dissidents in jail.

Thanks. I’ve been here a long time and sometimes posting vanities isn’t worth the effort. I figured (correctly, I might add) this was worth a go-round.

That would be great, but I don’t think Boehner has the stones. It might cause a rebellion in the ranks, though, and we could see Trey Gowdy kicking his ass up to his shoulders by the end of the year.

You are both correct, if I understand any of this correctly, about the interest on the debt being the first item in line, legally. IANAL.

But, Obastard is an outlaw President. He has openly defied court decisions. Look at what his DoJ is doing with NC and TX: Challenging their election laws in the face of a SCOTUS decision to the contrary. He openly defied an appeals court ruling so he could close all the oil drilling in the Gulf of Mexico.

You may be on to something — what with the Alabama Supremem Ct case (Coach is Right thread today) maybe he and Valerie are figuring they may be running out of time to bring it all down and are scrambling.

I just went to the website and read it. While I don’t want to open the Birther can of worms on this thread, it’s an indicator of why the Founders felt it was vital any President must be “an American.” Obastard may have indeed been born in HI (Please, folks, don’t hijack the thread. I don’t want to have to click “Abuse” on my own thread!), but it’s a known and agreed fact he was not raised here, he was in fact raised in Indonesia as a Muslim.

By any reasonable definition the Founders would have used, Obastard is not an American! Here’s a test to think about...if you sat an American kid down, put a plate of meat in front of him and told him it was dog, would he eat it? He did, and pronounced it tasty. Well, tastier than a snake. He may technically meet the test of being born here, but he sure as heck isn’t one of us, and we may not survive him as a nation.

The Red Chinese will take it in the shorts? What?

When are the Chi-Coms going to pay the rest of what they owe us?

United States Free Enterprise, INC.

INVOICE

Your Treasury certificates are your payment receipts. Thank you.

As the economic reforms accelerated toward a "market model" I have read that Chinese Communist Deng Xiaoping and others studied Lenin's New Economic Policy -- even grilling their good friend Armand Hammer about it (he was in Russia at the time of Lenin).

IMO all this "capitalism" stuff is the Chi-Coms' version of NEP. But they are doing it right. The Party members are becoming the billionaires not a country of Nepmen sharing billions.

The Chi-Coms will seize the assets from the Corporate America "Useful Idiots" in lieu of payments from Washington -- this "crisis" could be the excuse they need.

And IMO Obama, et al could be contributing even though corporate America IMO is in the tank for Obama. The American useful idiots are about to be asked if they sell rope -- and NOT ONE TAXPAYER DIME TO COMPENSATE THE JERKS FOR THEIR LOSES.

I’m breathing, don. We’ve seen too much stuff happen for me to be holding my breath, but I do wonder what Obastard has up his sleeve.

It is Jarrett and many more behind the scenes like the several Muslims at arms length from Obama. Obama’s real masters are the Saudi King and the financial wheeler dealers in Europe such as the Rothchilds working in concert the oil and money supplys. Obama and the likes of Jarrett and Axelrod etc envision ‘change’ like the communists did in Russia in the 1914s.

That is a recurring theme in this thread, and it’s worth considering. Defaulting on the debt would hurt the people you mention the most, so it probably won’t happen. But we’re in for an interesting ride to see what he does short of that, no?

(I’m not a big fan of the “Banking conspiracy” theories, but they need to be discussed here because the debt is the tough nut I’m speculating about.)

The Senate runs impeachments, and they won’t.

I agree with you, the Senate is not likely to vote 67 ayes to impeach. But, it’ll sure disrupt the heck out of them.

My take is that for the first time in his life, Obama is having to deal with actual opposition and he has no frame of reference or experience in how to deal with it.

He’s basically flailing around. Lashing out. Like a child.
