Could This Be Why Obastard is Being such a Jerk?
Now | Me

Posted on 10/08/2013 9:32:32 AM PDT by Cyber Liberty

OK, it's a vanity. Deal.

I haven't heard this possibility brought up, but that might be because I haven't read every post. It's been a very busy week, and Obastard is doing his best to overflow the piss-off bucket. But, a thought dawned upon me yesterday when I was reading a story in IBD about the next big scary deadline coming up, the Debt-Limit that we're supposed to hit on 10/17.

I think Obastard is being a total pr**k about shutting down parks, landmarks and private property because he's building up cred for a threat he intends to pull next week. He's lost a lot of credibility with his threats recently because, at least on the foreign scene, he's been shown to be rather, uh, "toothless."

What's the big threat? We're all expecting it so I don't think I'm shocking anybody when I say he intends to deliberately default on our bond interest payments. It's well known that he doesn't have to do that, and any normal business would ensure the bond-holders get serviced first, but I think he's planning to stiff the folks holding the debt, and that's us. Yes, the Chinese will take it in the shorts, but I think the Fed holds the biggest chunk of the debt these days. At least, they're the only fools buying it lately, since the S&P downgrade.

He's infuriating everybody right now for the same reason a battleship bombards an enemy before an invasion: To "soften us up." He would rather create mayhem the likes we haven't seen in my lifetime than try to get spending under control. He wants to deliberately crash the economy, and this is his big chance, all the while blaming the Republicans, especially TEA Partiers. We're all Emmanuel Goldstein now.

I see a golden opportunity to put troops in the streets, and dissidents in jail.

RE: "I see a golden opportunity to put troops in the streets, and dissidents in jail."

Before crashing the economy and troops in the streets there is likely to be a Great Sedition Trial of 2014 that matches what FDR tried to do to opponents with the Great Sedition Trial of 1944.

FDR failed. Obama might succeed because as Abe tells us from the "other side":

"You initiated a policy to tolerate the [New Left] Marxist-Alinsky radicals and let them rant; [after] decades of infiltration and indoctrination [you] now have two Americas."

That's from his house-divided speech. And the Establishment today is arguably those very same aging 1960s New Left Marxist-Alinsky radical, campus spoiled brats and their ideological issue. The Establishment in FDR's days did not go along and eventually stopped:

". . . one of the blackest marks on the record of American jurisprudence. In the legal world, none can recall a case where so many Americans were brought to trial for political persecution and were so arrogantly denied the rights [guaranteed] an American citizen under the Constitution.”

The radical, campus spoiled brats will praise Obama.

I’m with Mark Levin on this.

Obama intends to trainwreck the debt ceiling in Congress so that he can then abuse the “full faith and credit” clause to go ahead and do so on his own.

He’s on a mission to grab as much power for the Executive Branch as he can.

You are certainly correct that this is the first time in his adult life he’s faced any kind of real opposition. This may very well be just the flailing of a petulant child, doing a head-spin on the floor.

Occam’s Razor still cuts.

Agreed. We are going into unchartered territory, it seems.

A scheme worthy of Valerie Jarrett. And he won’t be impeached for it, either, because at least half of the country is begging him to do it.

Especially after the crap he’s been pulling the past week. Did you catch the story about the Sr. Citizens being rousted out of Yellowstone Park?

They don’t send the checks, somebody might send them some lead.

My take is that for the first time in his life, Obama is having to deal with actual opposition and he has no frame of reference or experience in how to deal with it.

He’s basically flailing around. Lashing out. Like a child.

Agree. Nice analysis

No, you are not being paranoid.

I know this goes against the CW in this forum, but the Democrats think the Republicans rolled them in the sequester deal. The sequester is actually working to ratchet down spending and the Democrats are in withdrawal because they don't have enough of their favorite drug to spend.

What they want is to get the Republicans to agree to lift the sequester caps. They want to turn the spending spigot on again.

Jarrett and Soros and Alinsky and whatever else crawls out from under the rocks in his smarmy America hating world and collections of warped miscreants.

Think of the very worst set of irrational and negative destructive events you can think of, multiply them by any number you want and that is what they would like to do.

If the right holds the line the obastards will become unbelievably ruthless. Bet on it with any odds.

That might be what he’s looking for: His “Reichstag Moment.” I’m interested in all ideas about where this is heading.

I agree wholeheartedly with that prediction. What I wonder is, how willing is "the right" to hold the line? Does Boehner have the stones? We already know McConnell does not.

If the media behaved like it had when Nixon was POTUS, Obummer would have been out a long time ago, and even his supporters would have become disgusted. But you already know that. MSM controls perceptions, period.

I’ve said this all along, it’s his way for the big takeover by his muzzie buddies. He wants a civil war, it’s part of their plan. Martial law ensues, no more elections & he’s dictator forever!

I doubt it. They are already talking about a “Special Committee”. I wonder if that is like a “Special” Bus? Not funny at all is it? Here we are in the fight of our lives for some part of our Nation to remain as it was and....

There would be huge panic in the markets if the US defaulted, and it would probably cause Japan to default too.

I think it more likely that Barry XVI would just rip up the Constitution and order the money to be paid whether he was authorized to do so or no. He would then realize his dream of governing as a real dictator, not just a pretend one.

Choosing to default is impeachable under the 14th amendment. The House would impeach in a second. The Senate? Dunno.

Obama is constitutionally obligated to pay those interest payments before even funding our military.

Jimmah Cahtah is a giant compared to obama in the sense that, yes, while he was a terrible president, at least he was a patriot who served his country in the Navy. Obama on the other hand wants the people of this country to serve him.
