You are accepting more of the Gubment premise than I do.

Random breathalyzer roadblocks are clearly counter to the spirit of the 4th amendment and clearly the 5th amendment even though SCOTUS has given the practice cover (may they forever rot in hell).

Of course, you are correct in the purist’s interpretation of the premise, and I would normally be also.

However, STATE and local random stoppings have already been tacitly approved by the USSC (at least, as is my understanding), and I grudgingly accept their ‘approved’ need to do this.

It does not, however, extend to extra measures beyond that required to sort out offenders according to STATE laws. I could give a sh!t what some Obama/Wookie sweatheart colluder wants to do for a million dollar plus grant/contract as a payoff.
