Bashir Blames Republicans for Nuclear Option
Truth Revolt ^

MSNBCs Martin Bashir led his show Thursday with news of the historic changing of Senate rules, and placed the blame squarely on the party not in charge for the Democrats unprecedented power grab:
We begin with Republican obstruction finally pushing Democrats to go nuclear, changing the rules of the Senate to clear the way for several of the Presidents nominees. The landmark vote, detonated just after noon, striking down nearly 225 years of precedent, ending longstanding filibuster rules and breaking Republicans hold on Presidential picks for the cabinet and judiciary.
The pro-Democrat rhetoric would only escalate from there as Professor Bob Shrum, the architect of multiple failed presidential campaigns, delved into an alternate timeline to try and blame Republicans for sins they would undoubtedly commit in the future:
I think democrats were right to do this and I worried over the last few months that you had too many Democrats saying if we do this, what if the Republicans some day control the presidency and the senate, they'll do it, too. You know what? The Republicans don't care about consistency. Now that this idea has been introduced, and I mean even before the Democrats passed it, I have no doubt that if they had the Senate, and they had the Presidency, Mitch McConnell would stand up there and say the essence of fairness is the nuclear option.
The only problem with Shrums hypothetical is that it is contradicted with the not too distant reality. Less than ten years ago, Republicans won a net of four seats in the 2004 elections to give them a 55-44 seat advantage in the Senate, nearly identical to the one the Democrats hold today. But at no time, as the Republicans held both the Presidency and the Senate, did anyone enact the nuclear option. In fact, in 2005, a 'gang' of compromising Senators worked to end a similar roadblock of then President Bush appointees.

people like this nasty little Brit-pak illustrate how much a nation and a people have to lose by loosening their immigration systems and policies to allow cretins like this to take root and claim rights under citizenship , while their real goals and allegiances are far from that which is healthy and advantageous to the societies which they infest . They are a blight and a plague .

Why the hell did America ever let these two turds Bashir and Piers Morgan emigrate from the U.K. to the U.S.?

Ah Martin Batshit for Brains speaks, again. He is the poster boy for NO IMMIGRATION.
Besides being an arrogant, crude, and uneducated fop, he’s also a total failure as a journalist. The best he could do in his career was to interview Michael Jackson?
There’s a Pakistani doctor in jail over there who helped us get Bin Laden. I’ll make the Paks a trade, Bashir for the Doctor and his family. We’ll get the better person on that one.
Oh, I forgot. Obama, his advisors, Hillary Clinton and John Kerry only want to punish our allies and friends, not reward them.
Another case in point: Iraqi and Afghani translators who served with our troops, and quite bravely. No asylum in the US. Obama’s people say that they are not in danger despite many being attacked and/or killed.
What the hell happened to our America in so short a time? Reds, wackos, sex-perverts, crooks and rampant cronyism now run and ruin our government and The GOP does nothing, the mainsteam media does nothing, and govt bureaucrats sit there with their fingers up their asses and let this happen.
What ever happened to the oath of loyalty to the US in which we promised to defend the country from enemies foreign and domestic? Now it is to hire them.
Impeachment is the only option for the Traitor in Chief and his marxist minions. Who will lead us in this hour of need?
NOT Boehner. Not Mitchell. Or Cantor or McCarthy or any Republican Senate leader.
“Now is the time for good men to come to the defense of our country”. It’s TEA TIME folks, where patriots are patriots and not cowards or sell-outs.

Is it me or has anyone else noticed that the current buzz word of the libs is ‘obstruction’ by the GOP. One libtard labeled the GOP as the Grand Obstructionist Party. Here we see it again from the favorite Alphabet Network cheerleaders.

I'd like to poop in Bashir's mouth and pee in his eyes.
Why?
Because apparently that's what he'd like to do to people he disagrees with.
So it's OK.

No, you are not the only one seeing it.
The GOP is being cast as the party of “nope!”, when it is the Dems who are preventing everyone from getting health insurance.
50 weeks to the mid-terms and they are determined to cast the narrative.
And the stupid party stands there and stares like a bunch of morons.
Harry Reid broke a 220 year old rule to enhance this narrative. For cheap political play that will last two news cycles.
The GOP better wake up. A line in the sand has been crossed.
They better stop acting like a battered spouse and get with the program—the Dems want full political power and the GOP destroyed.
When you realize the Dems are the Communist Party of America in 2013, you realize we did not win the Cold War.

Baldwin, Bashir, Schultz, and Sharpton. Part of MSNBC’s power lineup of great talk show hosts or a directory of the local insane asylum? Lord, what criteria does that network use to find hosts? I could go down to my local watering hole and find four inebriated patrons at random who could do a better job than those four pieces of human waste.

The rules of the Senate and tradition are now null and void and that is not good. When the Republicans again are the majority in the Senate there will be hell to pay for this. Tradition and rules are now null and void.
