many prayer warriors out there I know - prayers appreciated
A young Pastoral couple whom we love dearly recently concieved thier second child -a child that was thought to be impossible given this woman's Lyme disease…. she delivered last week.
She suffered a placental embolism and amniotic fluid entered her blood stream causing cardiac arrest. She is on life support and is brain dead.
Two things to pray for - recovery of course, but if that doesnt happen, pray for insight for the father who now faces, birth,death of his spouse,an anniversary, and CHrists Birth…all in the same span of two weeks
There is talk of discontinuing support, but my hope is that some time is allowed between the birth and that possible eventuality - I worry the month and it's blessing may forever be stained for this child, even though the two children literally "bookended" thier relationship
This woman was powerfully filled with the promise of our God and her witness surpassed even that of her husband, who managed thier church…..and while we mourn this turn of events - there is a deep sense of Faith which is carrying him - these are hard decisions and he has looked to my wife (we are older) and asked if we've walked here before……we haven't but with your prayer, we do it together in Christ and His strength….please pray hard for this family.

My family will pray this morning at at Adoration today, and we’ll keep them in our prayers.
It is situations like these that we ask “What is God thinking?” All we know is “Jesus, I trust in You” to have done what He specifically designed, actively wills, and has still both a plan and a need for the husband and father, and child.
A friend is going through something semi-similar and I was thinking as she probably is, the same question.
And yet, He says keep knocking on the door and the inkeeper will finally answer it, though a ‘vacancy’ to stay may not be the answer. So we will pray for the dear mother and spouse, and for the father and child.
Faith, Hope, Love. Once we’re in heaven, faith and hope are no longer needed, so only the greatest, Love, remains. We’ll pray for her soul either way!, to experience eternal Love whenever that time should come.
The anniversary....it’s Christ’s day, and He is in control, and He loves us, each, and death isn’t eternal and so it isn’t loss to Him, just to us during our earthly life.
Jesus wept for Lazarus, knowing where he went. Perhaps differently, He weeps for your son too, because He loves him.

Prayers, the gospels are filled with accounts of Christ’s Mercy and compassion for the suffering. Divine physician come and heal us.
Prayers for the entire family. I can’t imagine.

Almighty Father, please guide this family and their physicians, that Thy Will be done. If it be Your Will, grant them a miracle that the mother and child may know each other in this life. Grant them the strength and grace to endure any and all hardship gracefully, and send Your Angels to bear them up. Grant them Your Peace to better do what You ask. I ask this in the Holy Name of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Praying hard, Revelation 911. Words fail me right now for comfort... the situation sounds so sad. All I can do is pray for God’s mercy, love and comfort.
I will be praying.
Prayers for her and for her family. And for the hospital workers, that they will be inspired to do their job the best way possible.
