Eleven State Attorneys-General Bash Imperial WH Obamacare Diktats as 'Flatly Illegal'

'...illegal under federal constitutional and statutory law.'

Looks like those of us who've been scratching our heads re. how Obama magically and with zero debate somehow suddenly obtained Stalinesque dictatorial powers to alter congressional legislation, issue diktats, and otherwise tell us plebes what we need to do to avoid His wrath were right all along...

Obama's attempts to patch-up the ACA with 'executive actions' are illegal/unconstitutional, and the TEA Party was the only one who ever even gave a damn- everybody else just let him run hog wild. These days you can expect the Dems to sit there like lambs while Obama destroys constitutional government in DC... but where the hell are Boehner and McConnell?
Scheming against the TEA Party over martinis at the 19th Hole?

The 11 state GOP attorneys-general made their protest in the from of an open letter to the Obama Administration's Kathleen Sebelius. They said the President is clearly breaking the law when he simply whips-out changes to ObamaCare like some tin-pot tyrant, without bothering to even think of going through Congress- like the Constitution he swore to protect says he has to.

The righteous AG's came down hard on Obama's recent lawless executive actions, particularly the one that allowed insurance companies to keep offering health plans that had been canceled for not meeting ObamaCare's more rigorous standards.

The Hill:
'We support allowing citizens to keep their health insurance coverage, but the only way to fix this problem-ridden law is to enact changes lawfully: through Congressional action,” the attorneys general wrote in a letter to Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Kathleen Sebelius.

'The illegal actions by this administration must stop.' They say the healthcare fix was “flatly illegal under federal constitutional and statutory law.”

HHS did not respond to a request for comment...

I’m not sure but I think the move to impeach Obama needs to come from congress.

It’s kind of a tight spot.

Obama’s illegal “adjustments” to the law are to try to ease the pain of the reality of the law as passed,

and trying to make the pain stick is going to be a hard position to be in.

Exactly. Along with Congress and the USSC.

The “supreme” court took a PRE-MEDITATED LIE…set the record straight and approved their own clarification, which had been supported in lock-step by a party of deceivers, and now is funded by a compliant opposition party and FORCED on we the people.

For abolishing the free System of English Laws in a neighbouring Province, establishing therein an Arbitrary government, and enlarging its Boundaries so as to render it at once an example and fit instrument for introducing the same absolute rule into these Colonies:

For suspending our own Legislatures, and declaring themselves invested with power to legislate for us in all cases whatsoever.

For imposing Taxes on us without our Consent:

For taking away our Charters, abolishing our most valuable Laws, and altering fundamentally the Forms of our Governments:

He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harrass our people, and eat out their substance.

There is accumulating evidence that our side is marshaling arguments which would sustain impeachment. But we all know that at least for the foreseeable future impeachment is simply not in the cards and even if The House were to impeach Obama, the Senate as it is currently constituted would certainly not convict absent a smoking gun proving the most egregious crime.

Why then is is being undertaken at this time? First, the president is weaker. His maladroit mishandling of Syria was followed immediately by the exposure of his lies on Obamacare when it's website crashed so spectacularly. I happen to believe that the government shutdown engineered by Ted Cruz and Mike Lee served the purpose of focusing the country on the downside of Obamacare later. When the government webpage crashed, Cruz and Mike Lee were vindicated and the country came to understand why Cruz and Lee were making such a fuss.

As many people point out, Obamacare is not merely an abstraction because millions of Americans have been acutely harmed by the implementation of this ill-conceived power grab. No longer abstract, Americans are now forced to deal with reality of a law which they understood at best imperfectly because the law itself is virtually incapable of comprehension. Shrouded in bureaucratize, the media was able to diffuse understanding and the blame sufficiently even to get Obama reelected.

Second, the forces marshaling these arguments are not necessarily the forces of the establishment in the House or in the Republican caucus in the Senate. In short, we have a rehearsal by the various players which forced the House and the Senate to actually try to do something about Obamacare in the government shut down.

Third, midterm elections will be upon us in a little over 10 months and the strategy sets the framework for that election by knocking the Democrats back on their heels, depriving their spokesman who occupies the bully pulpit from an ability to persuade independents-he will never lose his base. It forces Democrat Representatives and Senators to choose between Obamacare and the ire of the electorate for the real and actual harm done to constituents by this law. A good example of wedge electioneering. Let the Democrats explain why they continue to support a law which takes money out of the pockets of their constituents.

The undertaking serves to discredit the Obama administration, Obama personally, the Democrat party, and big government generally. Particularly, it discredits the federal government as opposed to state governments which is of interest to those of us who support the Article V movement.

Fourth, one never knows the midterm elections might conceivably bring a Republican majority to the Senate and improve the chances of an actual impeachment. It is not within the realm of practical reality that the Senate will go two thirds Republican but the closer the better and if a smoking gun is uncovered an impeachment resolution might just be upheld in the Senate. I am not naïve and expressing this, after all, I have repetitively and tediously advanced Nathan Bedford's first Maxim of American politics (all politics in America is not local but ultimately racial) and I understand that it presents an immense emotional obstacle for anyone to vote for the impeachment of the first African-American president. As someone once said about Bill Russell being name the first coach in the NBA, this does not prove that we have overcome racism, that will be better proved as and when he is fired. So it will be proved of us as and when Obama is impeached. Even if impeachment, and especially conviction in impeachment, is extremely unlikely in today's world in the world that we can reasonably foresee, to push the principal against Obama is to get on attack and that is how elections are won. Republicans are famous for trying to run while back on their heels and this gets them moving forward.

The most important thing, however, is to understand now that the attorneys general letter and the hearings in The House are designed to lay the intellectual and constitutional foundation for all the good things that might happen as the movement toward impeachment proceeds. But there will shortly come a time when the emphasis must move away from the intellectual and constitutional considerations to an examination of the real harm done to Americans by Obama's unconstitutional overreach. That means that the process should move to a show and tell presentation, much favored by Democrats, in which individual horror stories are highlighted and the public begins to understand that the Constitution is not a dead letter written by dead white males but the thing which saves them from real harm.

Let the Republicans highlight the family that is been bankrupt by Obamacare-there are plenty of them. Let the Republicans highlight countless examples of patients with special needs being deprived of their doctors who treated them for years. Let the Republicans highlight people who are failing to get any treatment at all because they're lost the bureaucracy. Let the Republicans present more patients who are dying of cancer, left untreated or maltreated, because of Obamacare. Begin the parade of horribles.

Personalize the reason the Constitution must be upheld and the reasons why Obama should be impeached. The Democrats operate under the guidance of Saul Alinsky to personalize and demonize. The Democrats are taking care of demonizing themselves we need only to personalize it.

The real benefit of impeachment is not removing Obama but destroying Clinton before 2016. Benghazi needs to be shoved so far up her ass, she absolutely knows what difference it makes to her dying day. Obama is the side show. Clinton is the main target. In this case it’s the collateral damage that’s more important.

There won't be any impeachment and even if there was it certainly wouldn't destroy Clinton.

At best you might get a vote to impeach out of the house. In the senate, Hairy Roid will either refuse to allow it to come to a vote or worse, will bring it to a vote to show just how badly a vote to convict will be crushed with every last democrat and several republicans.

You missed the point. Impeachment is entirely within the jurisdiction of the house. It’s up to the Senate to actually try the president. What is needed is the publicity that the media can’t ignore. All of the Benghazi details need to be drug out. Impeachment will be a three ring circus. It will be the only show in town. The media won’t be able to ignore it anymore than a house fire or a car wreck. There will be lots of bleeding for leading.

Clinton was impeached and it’s a stain he regrets to this day. Obama deserves the same.

Since the GUTLESS GOP-e wonders now running the stupid party will never ever even bring up IMPEACHMENT - which the founders designed into our system for just this scenario - the only solution left to save our Republic is.

The US House of Representatives is analogous to a Police Force - - - they “arrest” the perp by Impeaching the perp.

The US Senate is analogous to a Jury of Peers who have the power to throw the Impeached perp off of the taxpayer gravy train, take away his residence, ban him from building a Library paid for by us, and ban him from using his personal Corporate Jet, Air Force One.

Most RINO Americans want to wait, Wait, WAIT! until they control the House, the Senate and the White House.

Weak-kneeded summer soldier “patriots” I say “Enjoy the Obamanation that you have tolerated since January, 2009.”

Thus, we Summer Soldier Conservatives continue to tolerate a wimpy, hand-wringing, sobbing crybaby Speaker of the House Boehner as our sorry chief policeman.

“Oh, if only my best friends across the aisle - - - “ is the perfect quote that fire-in-the-belly Socialist-Democrats love to hear from their Obamacrat Rinos.

Yes indeed, as long as we WAIT for things to be PEWRFECT we will never attack those whose goal is to destroy the US Constitution.

Suck it up you sorry House RINOs, and replace John “Benghazi Coverup” Boehner with SC Rep Trey Gowdey, or SC Rep Joe Wilson.

Without a fire-in-the-belly Republican Speaker of the House, Obamacrat RINOs will continue to cave in to “their best friends across the aisle,” to the unbridled glee of every Democrat voter in America!

Fight or go home, House RINOs.

FIGHT or we will send you home!

Yeah I'm sure he regrets it every time he gets a big honkin check for speaking or when he's swearing in a new marxist mayor.
