hang on.... WHAT??
On second thought, I don’t want to know
Awkward headline to say the least.
Very awkward headline indeed
Read it? There’s over 1500 pages.
Nurse it...
Why is the breastfeeding limited to peer counselors only? Sounds like crony breastfeeding at its worst.
And is this a feature to get more young males to sign up for Obamacare?
Possibly, it might even work this time
Unfortunately I don’t have the time for that.
Any mother who does not know what the nipple on her breast, and the mouth on her baby, are for should not be getting any government advice on the use of either.
Gived natural selection a chance!
“Read it? Theres over 1500 pages.”
******************************************************************
It’s on page 53. And the actual language is “...NOT LESS THAN
$60,000,000 shall be used for breastfeeding peer counselors and other related activities...”
So with the “not less than” language, the sky’s the limit. And I want to know what the “related activities” are. Hell, I just may sign up to be an Obamacare “peer counselor”—they must have fantastic benefits if this is an example. Of course my wife will likely veto the idea.
I wish more people felt ‘awkward’ about feeding at the government teat!
Thanks. Outrageous but then liberals always are.

American mothers as a whole do not breast-feed their babies as much as health experts would like, but African-American moms have the lowest rates of all by some measures, they are half as likely to nurse as whites and Hispanics.
The federal government, some hospitals and nonprofits are trying different strategies to close this nursing gap, though no one seems sure exactly why the disparity exists.
You’d hope at least they’d throw a blanket over them first.
Globull warming pays big!
“$2,000,000,000 shall be used for the construction, acquisition, or improvement of fossil-fueled electric generating
plants (whether new or existing) that utilize carbon sequestration systems.”
$82,169,945,000 to SNAP (10 years)
No cuts but: “... this appropriation shall be subject to any work registration or workfare requirements as may be required by law”... some day...
So what exactly is the GOP-controlled House of Reps doing for us anyway?
Sounds like alot of Pablum to me.
I’m confused. Are we hiring wetnurses to breastfeed peer counselors? Or are we paying peer counselors to counsel about breastfeeding?
If there was actual milk being purchased, it might justify the price tag, is all I’m saying.
