From the Beat Lamar! faceebook
January 22, 2014 | Michael Patrick Leahy

Posted on 01/22/2014 6:55:51 AM PST by don-o

Appearing on Ralph Bristol's #1 rated talk radio show in Nashville this morning (99.7 WWTN FM), BEAT LAMAR co-founder Michael Patrick Leahy predicted that Joe Carr will be endorsed by all the major Washington based conservative groups before the August 2014 Republican primary.

According to Leahy, "Lamar Alexander is the most vulnerable of the RINO Senators now up for re-election, and all the Washington conservative groups know this. The majority of these groups will endorse Joe Carr to BEAT LAMAR after the Kentucky primary, which will be held on May 20."

Leahy added that "well before primary day on August 7, all the major groups will be on board and will publicly endorse Joe Carr."

Perhaps the thinking is that Kentucky is their priority in the Upper South and that once past that, attention and resources can shift to Tennessee.

Very good. Joe had a good 4th quarter raising $250k. Would be great to double that in the first quarter.

I don't pretend to understand DeMint's (and others') strategic thinking. My takeaway from listening to Michael was that he has some inside info that this is how it will shake out.

The ground game is going to crank up this Saturday. Joe is out on the stump. I'm not hearing of anyone else jumping in - which is key. Tenn is winner take all as well as open primary.

Rarely ever is. It’s like impeach 0, well then you get biden and a vp of his choice. Then comes Cry Baby speaker of the house RINO. Just trading poisons in these situations.

REMEMBER WE NEED TO KEEP ANOTHER CONSERVATIVE FROM RUNNING IN THE PRIMARY, 2 CONSERVATIVES WILL SPLIT THE VOTE, AND THE RINO WINS! WE NEED TO FIX OUR PRIMARIES BADLY!

Spot on. Herd on npr this morning (of all places) about the House race in Idaho where the RNC is pouring big bucks into the primary for an incumbent who has a TP challenger.

The report indicated that the RNC was dedicated to keeping radicals out of the Congress.

If you get mailings from the RNC, return the prepaid envelope with as much other junk mail as you can stuff in it. I do not advise attaching it to a brick.

Two important votes coming up:

Fund and vote for Carr...and vote YES on 1 in November (even if you don’t plan to vote for the Governor).
