JET NOISE OVER WASHINGTON, DC

Posted on 01/29/2014 5:50:59 AM PST by 7thson

Got a question for Washington, DC-Maryland Freepers who live in the PG and Calvert Counties. I woke up last night at around 2330 to the sound of loud jet engines. At first I thought it was a tornado, it was so loud. It sound like it was right over the house. It was jet engines, that seemed to go up from Calvert County to PG and then back down. This lasted for about 15-29 minutes. Where I live, PAX River NAS is to the south and Andrews AFB is to the norh. Anyone hear this and/or know what was going on?

” - - - how can one realistically have a “fitness program” with a shelf ass like the mooch has? - - - “

Simple, just come up with an energy-burning, catchy, self-motivating slogan such as “MOVE FORWARD.”

I'm about 10 miles south of Andrews AFB and I didn't hear anything. All kinds of aircraft fly over my house all the time on approach to or takeoff from Andrews.

I guess after 20+ years I'm so used to it I don't notice it anymore.
