As its done for nearly a quarter of a century, Anheuser-Busch (BUD) will once again roll out splashy commercials during the Super Bowl to get people talking about Budweiser and, hopefully, drinking it. But a new report suggests that young adultsthe prime demographic for these advertisementswill need a lot of persuading.

Lots of craft beers out there these days are taking a considerable bite out of the market share. Seems like every time I turn around there is some kind of beer festival in Michigan.
Give people real beer, and they will dump the recycled horse urine.
Give people real conservatives, and they will dump the recycled horse poop.... er... RINOs.

God bless 'em. America needs more real beer and less watered down horse piss.

217 breweries in Washington state. This is a golden era for American beer brewing.
Speaking of Bud and SuperBowl commercials remember the one from years ago with the frogs in the pond burping out the sounds of ‘Bud’ “wise’ ‘errrrr’. One of the absolute best SB commercials ever IMO.....
At $9 a sixpack...yep.
Brewing maybe but not consumption.
Julia and Pajama Boy (encouraged by their leader) are more into grass.
People who make less or not being able to work might not be drinking beer to drown their sorrow as much.
^5!
Spot on, Johnny!
I don’t even drink anymore but I’m happy to see all the new brewers. They’re lots of small businesses that hire lots of local people and buy lots of locally grown produce.
Lots of wineries in Michigan these days too.

Of course stupid advertising campaigns that make you feel even more like an idiot for paying $9 for a six pack of rice beer don't help.
Yeh what’s up with the high price of beer these days? Sheesh back in the day we could pick up cheap beers like Piels, Pabst or Ballantine, etc for pocket change. I think Miller is about the pissy-ist poor beer around but it aint cheap no mo.
I liked beer, but am not a drinker now. Occasionally will have a small sip of Port wine after dinner.
Everyone I know here in Vermont drinks local craft beer.
Just wait until healthcare is totally free.
then we can pay $50 a case for PBR
I'll try it.
Stuff I can grow is good. Stuff where I have to spend $$s is bad.

One area in which America has improved over the past four decades is the quality of beers available. In the 1970’s, most beer was brewed by large breweries and was not very good. The ads for Tuborg, a Danish import, even boasted that it was “brewed light for American tastes”—in other words, watered down. If you wanted good beer, you had to order Löwenbräu or Heiniken, although some liquor stores carried Anchor Steam.
Nowadays, dozens, if not hundreds of brands from small breweries are available.
