Why are so many priests today refusing to preach on the Rosary?

"They make the word of God of no effect through their traditions which they have handed down, along with the many other things they do."

You have identified a tragic weakness in Romanist practice: The tradition eclipses the revelation of God's Word. And, for a group that is so committed to "works", it is astonishing they make and venerate icons and images of things in heaven and earth. They even make "replicas" of Jesus. A very odd contradiction.

It’s a classic example of the way Satan always fools Humans into accepting lies.

Give then 99% of what is real, and kill them with the 1% lie.

Same way you kill mice. Give them poisoned food that has 99% real good food tainted with 1% poison. Does the job every time.

When I stepped away from this thread earlier, it was as if I was experiencing the death of a loved one.

That’s just how I felt inside of me, and I have known that feeling all too well, many times over within my own circle of loved ones who have crossed over to the other side to be with the Lord.

Yet to call on them in prayer, or in any other name than what has been given in the Word of God, would seem to be practicing necromancy, which is highly forbidden, and an abomination unto God.

To see this being taught, and to know this is being followed really grieves my spirit inside. I don’t know what else to do but to pray to our Heavenly Father in Christ Jesus’ name to help them help themselves to see that this is such a grave error.

Okay, that is mental picture that makes me grimace.

If it only did the same to all those who fall for false teaching, because the pain a mouse goes through while dieing from such poison is what I imagine is going on with the souls of those who buy into the lies being taught by heretical teachers.

Although, one needs to be somewhat wanting to be fooled.

I’m reminded of the way Paul put it,

For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own (2 Timothy 4:3)

Then they die a slow agonizing death from within their souls, while attacking those of us who are just trying to open up their eyes and minds to the truth.

why didn’t Jesus pray to his mom?

why didn’t he instruct anyone else to pray to Mary?

why didn’t a single apostle or disciple instrct anyone to pray to Mary?

It's not a bible thing...It was made up a few hundred years later, or it was a holdover from the pagan goddess worship of Constantine's pagan Roman empire...

It's a contradiction of scriptural principle...We are to put nothing between us and God except Jesus Christ...

There is no connection between Mary and God when it comes to prayer...It's a counterfeit...There is no basis whatsoever for that in biblical Christianity except for the numerous warnings against it...

All your questions are based on a misunderstanding of what Catholics believe and how they pray.

The Church made/makes money from the Rosary??? LOL.

Your insulting, inaccurate jibes at the Rosary will not impress any Catholic who is familiar with what the Rosary is really about. It is all about key events in the life of Jesus.

"Yeah, because Jesus and his Apostles taught the Rosary all the time."

- - - - - - - - - - - - -

Can you provide the Bible text where Jesus (or his Apostles) tells us to make use of the "internet" or "television" or "radio" or "printed books and Bibles from the printing press" to proclaim the Gospel?

Should people make use of the internet, television, radio, and "printed books and Bibles from the printing press" to proclaim the Gospel?

"You accuse me having no love, because I claim you need an inanimate object to get closer to God."

Do you ever use a Bible (an inanimate object) to get closer to God?

"Further, He CONDEMNED using vain repetitions in our prayers."

- - - - - - - - - - - - -

Is the "Our Father" a vain expression?

Are the scriptual quotations in the "Hail Mary" vain expressions?

Are the repetitions in this prayer from the Psalms vain repetitions?

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Psalm 136
(King James Version - KJV)

1 O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good:
for his mercy endureth for ever.

2 O give thanks unto the God of gods:
for his mercy endureth for ever.

3 O give thanks to the Lord of lords:
for his mercy endureth for ever.

4 To him who alone doeth great wonders:
for his mercy endureth for ever.

5 To him that by wisdom made the heavens:
for his mercy endureth for ever.

6 To him that stretched out the earth above the waters:
for his mercy endureth for ever.

7 To him that made great lights:
for his mercy endureth for ever.

8 The sun to rule by day:
for his mercy endureth for ever.

9 The moon and stars to rule by night:
for his mercy endureth for ever.

10 To him that smote Egypt in their firstborn:
for his mercy endureth for ever.

11 And brought out Israel from among them:
for his mercy endureth for ever.

12 With a strong hand, and with a stretched out arm:
for his mercy endureth for ever.

13 To him which divided the Red sea into parts:
for his mercy endureth for ever.

14 And made Israel to pass through the midst of it:
for his mercy endureth for ever.

15 But overthrew Pharaoh and his host in the Red sea:
for his mercy endureth for ever.

16 To him which led his people through the wilderness:
for his mercy endureth for ever.

17 To him which smote great kings:
for his mercy endureth for ever.

18 And slew famous kings:
for his mercy endureth for ever.

19 Sihon king of the Amorites:
for his mercy endureth for ever.

20 And Og the king of Bashan:
for his mercy endureth for ever.

21 And gave their land for an heritage:
for his mercy endureth for ever.

22 Even an heritage unto Israel his servant:
for his mercy endureth for ever.

23 Who remembered us in our low estate:
for his mercy endureth for ever.

24 And hath redeemed us from our enemies:
for his mercy endureth for ever.

25 Who giveth food to all flesh:
for his mercy endureth for ever.

26 O give thanks unto the God of heaven:
for his mercy endureth for ever.

Did the Holy Spirit mess up there in those repetitive prayers in the scriptures (the Psalms), or do you think maybe it is much more likely that your own personal definition of "vain repetition" does not mean the same thing Jesus meant when he used that term?

I urge you to consider this carefully and prayerfully, and I wish all of you goodnight.

Agreed. And, when theology is derived from tradition, over text, you get Sotomayor (SCOTUS) raised as a Catholic, but concerned about homosexuals not feeling welcome in the country. Romanists argue there are 30,000 denominations of Protestants...they fail to notice there are 30,000,000 version of the RCC.
