I buy my gas at the same station almost daily. Wednesday I paid $3.20 for regular unleaded. Yesterday it jumped to $3.24. Eh, not so unusual. This morning jumped to $3.44. Something's afoot, .24 in 2 days this is NOT a good sign.
Just checked gasbuddy.com and wondering why they are showing prices trending down?
In Acworth Georgia the prices have been declining for the last two weeks to $3.07.
Could another key gas station, nearby, closed spiking prices near a key highway or something?
Yeah, try buying diesel. It’s going up daily.
The spread between diesel and regular ‘87’ is just shy of a dollar here in soviet Red Hampshire...WTF?
try buying propane! Premium gas is always higher too! the colder weather is driving up prices. Tourism (snowmobilers) are staying away too.
Central Kentucky here, $3.19 per gallon last night.
I’ve been paying $3.59 for what seems like years. Hardly ever fluctuates.
It’s down here in Texas ... from 3.09 to 2.99
You might see a lot of movement in the next few weeks. Some regions use different blends from Nov - Feb for emissions purposes. The changeover generally causes such spikes.
We went from 309 to 339 in 1 evening, so glad I gassed up before the bust!
Remember the good ol’ days when just a few days of $3+ gas caused continuous hyperventilating by the media, much less 4 continuous years of it?
In Central TX, we have finally cracked the $3/gal. price with a welcome 2.97.

You must buy gas at the same place I do. $2.97 was what I paid at QT in south FW TX yesterday.
Still TOO DAMN HIGH if you ask me ;-)!!
I traveled right after the ice storms down South - prices in the path were already up from 3.09 or so to 3.39 in the path of it. On the way back, the same places had 3.13-3.24. Opportunists...
Bush is no longer president, so this is not news. /sarc/
