I can't possibly be the only one who thought this about the U.S. Olympic teams uniform...

2012 was a swing an a miss...this time around it was a swing, miss, and then the freakin' bat slipped out of the designers hands...

It's the Olympics, not an ugly Christmas sweater contest.

One bright part of all this is that I read somewhere that Barack Obama must hate the uniforms too, because now he has to spend two weeks cheering for people who dress like Young College Republicans. There’s always a pony in the room somewhere...

Ralph has got to be really getting up there, age wise. Perhaps he’s losing it, or the younger people now doing most of the work just don’t have it.

I think my favorite was Kazakistan (or however it is spelled). A blend of cultural/custom dress and a bit of new. IMHO

That’s HYSTERICAL! I was thinking of Borat when they started walking, too! “My neighbor is rich.. he has an alarm clock”.

Yet another in a long line of embarrassments for this country in recent years..

Upside is at least they weren’t forced to wear “rainbow” colors in an attempt to stick it to Putin.

I don’t think it’s possible to hear “Kazakhstan” and not immediately think of Borat.

obama must have had a hand in the design.
It is that gay effect seen now on too many tv shows.

Didn’t the announcers even mention Borat?! Oh well... they certainly looked nice to me. Germany on the other hand... I was laughing OUT LOUD!

US citizens have to be careful, where ever we travel to dress in a way that isn't in-their-face. That silly sweater sends the wrong message.

What would be wrong with US athletes wearing jeans, a turtleneck and sweater and a warm, comfortable ski parka? It would be much more American, and subtle at the same time.

Nobody's in charge of common sense anymore.

Get rid of the homo designers, and...

Winter Olympics: For men, blue trousers, red blazer, white dress shirt, blue necktie. For women, blue skirt or pants, red blazer, white blouse, blue scarf.

For Summer Olympics, reverse the colors — white trousers, blue blazer, white dress shirt, red necktie, etc.

For both Winter and Summer, keep the uniform standard and add traditional hats in styles & colors appropriate for men and women. Also change up shoe styles & colors.

And have the team march in behind the American flag, not saunter & mill about as they have been doing for too long. A little practice would help. See: Army-Navy game.

The only thing I can say is it is way better than the Germans. They looked like every color of mixed sherbet known to mankind.

The Germans were tweeking Putin noses a little with their rainbow outfit, I have no idea what the designer of the US outfits were thinking to impress, I just hope the contract is only for this year. the Canadians outfit was great this year as was most of them, the russians was rich looking and the Scandinavians was nice to, the US not so much

Ralph Lauren is straight. He's 74, married....with three grown children.

He was born in New York City as Ralph Lifshitz. He still lives in New York state on an estate which also houses a vast collection of rare and vintage autos. His estimated wealth is $6.5 billion.....making him the 162nd richest person in the world.

His son, David Lauren, is married to Lauren Bush, niece of former President George W. Bush.

Her name is now Lauren Lauren? Or Lauren Lifshitz? Unfortunate, either way.

Have you ever heard of a male designer that wasn’t?

Actually yes, quite a few of them aren't and that includes R.L.
