I am sure Hollywood will ruin these stories. I am looking forward to “the Boy Who Came Back From Heaven”. Good book.

If there is a poll, why not post the link here instead of redirecting to a blog first?

I voted. People better go see these films or don’t ever complain about not having conservative movies not be available ever again.

“Noah” yes; “Son of God” no.

“Son of God” is being produced by the same people who did “The Bible” which featured Asian Ninja Angels kicking Sodomite butt all over Sodom and it also featured numerous Jewish characters being portrayed by a racial mix of people when that simply wasn’t the case in real life. I also didn’t like the liberties they took with no end of Scripture.

They won’t see my money and I won’t see their movie.

because I embedded my own poll in the blog ....
You can also vote on the Faith Driven Consumers poll , but they require a lot of information from you in order for yuor vote to count/show . I don’t like that .... so I created a simple alternate .

We will definitely go to see Son of God because we are familiar with the work of its producers, Roma Downey and her husband.

They produced the TV miniseries The Bible and did a pretty good job of sticking to the script.

With Noah, I will wait to hear what is said about it. What I've heard so far is that Noah believes the flood is a result of overpopulation and global warming. We'll see.

Plus, in the trailers I've seen on TV, he appears to be wearing pants.

Obviously I wasn't around at the time of the flood but I'm fairly certain men didn't wear pants back then.

If the producers and director can't even get that little factoid right, I don't hold out much hope they get the rest of it right.

But I could be wrong. We'll see.

I can understand saying that about the Son of God movie but I’m hearing the Noah movie is not accurate biblically.

I’ll watch it and view it for what it is. ...just a movie. I like his acting, but like so many other movies out there you know there will be overtones of the liberal slant..it’s Hollywood after all...should we expect any less than they are?

I think we put too much importance on ‘movies’....if someone wants historical facts then do documentaries and such, and even those will be slanted. Movies are “entertainment” after all.

“Noah” looks like it will bring new definition to “disaster flick.” Pass.

“Son of God” was already shown as “the Bible” on cable TV. Still, with new scenes added, it promises to be worth seeing on DVD.

“The Passion” was great. So was “The Nativity Story”. It can be done. “The Bible” series was very good too, especially the Obama part.

I noticed today on the “Son of God” site that they filmed commentary by that fake minister and commie Jim Wallis. I was gobsmacked.

You could be right and I may be too critical of my fellow FRiends. I have not decided to see Noah yet, but it does not have to do with whether it is liberal slanted or anything like that. I can’t stand Russell Crowe. I was trilled to see him get killed in the movie Les Misérables.

"People better go see these films or don’t ever complain about not having conservative movies not be available ever again."

I don't think "Noah" can be called a conservative movie; seems it left out the Bible and has billed Noah as "the first environmentalist."

Noah

Now if they've made changes in response to the criticism and removed the leftwing propaganda, I might change my mind.

I can’t wait for Roma Downey and her team of poseurs to trot out the usual bunch of secular Jewish professors from Colmbia and NYU to speak on the ‘authenticity’ of her portrayal of Jesus in the film. I’ve noticed that the same people she taps to shill her work are the same people who go on History Channel and etc. to denounce the divinity of Christ Jesus.

Matthew 7:15

Not to mention the fact that Roma Downey is a New Age nut.
