Yikes! As recently as the 1970s, the official diagnostic manual of the American Psychiatric Association listed homosexuality as a psychiatric disorder. I gather they were "lobbied" out of that understanding and into political correctness by gay activists.
It's hard for me to imagine that self-mutilation of the body to make it conform to one's deranged mental self-concept could in any way be a good thing....
