I wonder how our government would reply to the occupation of the house and senate chambers by several thousand protesters and people throwing Molotov cocktails at the park police in front of the white house.... The media applauds this mob rule in the Ukraine. I FIND IT TRULY AMAZING THAT OUR EDUCATION SYSTEM HAS REMOVED THE SKILLS OF HONESTY,OBJECTIVITY AND ANALYSIS FROM THE TEACHING OF JOURNALISM. ( AND THE KNOWLEDGE OF HISTORY AS WELL). Randolph Hearst must be proud. - maybe they will change the name of the Pulitzer to the Hearst Award for yellow journalism... - Because the news industry ( I can’t call them the Press anymore)are working to bring back the cold war. - for ratings.

It would depend. If it were a bunch of leftists, then the media would call it "democracy in action" and applaud it, as they did when Left-wing union protesters occupied the Wisconsin state capital building in 2011 to protest against right-to-work.

If it was TEA Party protesters, the media would call for the military to go in and kill us all.

As far as Ukraine is concerned, the media is on the side of the EU socialists, and against Putin because of his anti-gay and pro-Orthodox positions.

See post #3 this thread. There are no 100% good guys in this fight. The thread is about how they did it not why.

How many people would have bet that things would have ended as they did? Me I expected lots more blood in the streets and a lot of people in gulugs.

The protests started out peaceful over two months ago. .

--------------------------------------- Ask another question:
I wonder how our public would reply to the U.S. Government closing off the Mall area of Washington DC to protests?

I wonder how Americans would react, if the Park police started shooting people who protested peacefully in front of the White House with rubber bullets?< /b>
