You may wish to reconsider some of your ill-tempered and unwarranted comments towards others here. The fact is, as you seem to like facts, that changes in the brain, detectable by MRI, are commonly the result of life experiences, especially but not only traumatic events. The differences allegedly seen between homosexual and heterosexual brains can as easily be attributed to such experiences as they can to "innate" programming, a concept which is in itself of questionable validity.

Post-mortem brain studies of violinists show larger brain development in areas that control music, as well. But there is no way to do a pre-mortem study on the same person's brain and find out if it was a normal-sized area before all those years of practice on the violin.

Brain therapists working with victims of brain trauma, stroke, etc., have found that they can help their patients build new brain pathways after the injury, by repeated actions such as occupational therapy, art therapy, etc. That would imply that repeated actions like boypoking could enlarge those sections of the brain, and that is what would show up post-mortem: the results of repetitive activity, which should not be labeled the cause of such activity.
