He was vilified for his abhorrence of the second amendment. His ratings sank lower and lower until he was shown the door. He had a petition signed by over 100,000 people asking for his deportation from the United States.
Frontpagemag.com reports that he abused his staff (quoting from the New York Daily News). Yet, in spite of these achievements, or perhaps, because of them, a commenter at frontpagemag.com says that Piers Morgan brought positive change to a number of people in his life. Olorin writes:
So we find that even closed minds and a bombastic, abusing style that made people cringe can be turned to good purposes. John Lott, at nationalreview.com writes that he received this response, one of many:
As noble as he thought he was, Piers did a disservice to his cause. I will buy your book and read it, and if I find your conclusions credible by my own standards, I will write Mr. Morgan and let him know.
I may end up disagreeing with you, but tonight, you have certainly won my respect.
Perhaps civility, courtesy, rational discourse, and fair play still means something in America.

Some bring positive change by coming, others like Piers make positive change when they go.
See ya!

Idiots are extremely useful to the current administration. It’s how they’ve managed to stay in power.

Yes. Piers brought positive change in the form of a new AR 15 that I bought
Thanks Piers for reminding me.

What a novel exercise of freedom for the feebleminded to express the questionable assertion that everyone in the universe serves a useful purpose...
If only to serve as a bad example

See ya!
It would not surprise me to see Piers Morgan as the next White House Press Spokesman.

He helped with the demise of that network.

ESPN is still trying to rehabilitate Olbermann. Morgan will get another job somewhere. It’s just a little harder for people who don’t just read the words their communist masters give them.
