The media seem to loathe him. He walks out on press conferences if he doesn’t like the questions. Bloomberg gave them hell at press conferences but he was never so rude and cowardly as to walk out.

I’m not surprised he went after the charter schools, since he owed it to the union, but he is attacking something that is very popular and he is causing a lot of heartache in our families. We should be working on making the principles of charter schools that have been responsible for their success applicable to the rest of the system. That would be if we care about the kids, however.
