While we always feel bad for those who are experiencing fire, this appears to be more NYC navel-gazing. I’m betting there are other fires in America, but because it’s NYC, their local news becomes our national news.

San Francisco Fire Rages At Construction Site Next To Giants’ AT&T Park

San Francisco fire in Mission Bay
A six-alarm fire in San Francisco has engulfed a construction site near AT&T Park, the home of the city’s baseball team, the Giants.

Over 100 firefighters responded to the emergency call at 4:56 pm, local time at the site in the city’s Mission Bay neighborhood on Tuesday afternoon, according to a San Francisco fire department official.

The official indicated that even though no injuries have been reported at this time, evacuations were ordered for buildings located across the street.
