Wow excellent movie, which from the trailers, proved to live up to the expectations. This is a emmy winning quality movie. Kevin Sorbo plays the sexy macho bad guy poised against good looking Shane Harper. The girls are all cute. and what guy doesn't like to to see cute girls on the big screen. Cameo with Willie Robertson and his wife. David A.R.White plays his goofy self. Dean Cain plays the ultimate stink bomb of a person. Trisha LaFache plays his girl friend that learns she needs to deal with something other than internet popularity. It's a great mix of stuff going on behind the main event and the eventual show down between Josh Wheaton (Shane Harper) and Professor Radisson (Kevin Sorbo) synopsis here: http://godsnotdeadthemovie.com/synopsis
The cinematic scene changes for me were great because of how you may remember the movie -- not necessarily how you view it. I think the movie is ok for most kids. i'm not a parent. there is a scene at the end that is somewhat intense and there are some scenes where one of the girls is struck by her father. use your parental judgment it is rated PG i believe. I think it is an adult and teen and pre-teen movie.
the heart of the movie can become a philosophy course. there is concise treatment of refuting the three legs of the popular myths taught in schools today that God is Dead because: 1. The Big Bang theory proves that the universe creation didn't happen by God. 2. Origin of life was not as described in the Bible. 3. Evolution is established science on the not "Origin" but "Progression" of the species we see today. The movie for me needs to instruct Christians that fundamental rules of logic win for us not them. I think parents need to learn the fundamentals of logic and debate how scientific truths, biblical truths, ideas are argued (bad word.. debated presented). Until logic and reason is destroyed God is not dead! The credits of the movie are worth watching and recorded. they are not on the official web site.
I told my girl friend on leaving that i think my name should be added to the list. not really. i was not involved in any legal case, but i and my friend Phil challenged the high school i attended in 1968 to accept our prayer/bible study group in the home room facility as a recognized school club and we won. links to logic. http://www.logicalfallacies.info/

I thought Kevin Sorbo was excellent. Great movie. Wish we had more like it to support.
