First, please allow me to qualify my remarks by saying that I myself am a 'half and half', obama look-a-like individual.
A lot of times, no matter how politically correct I try to make my thoughts come across, to some .. it just doesn't matter!
Now to my rant?
I was listening to espn this afternoon (my bad) when all of a sudden the host went on a tirade.
Of course it was all about the Donald Sterling fiasco!
Without going into all the details let me just say that after the host's complete, politically correct .. I am a white guy who is offended tirade, he went on to call on an 'expert' on civil rights and racism .. Al Sharpton!
Al Sharpton thinks that a suspension and fine is not enough for Sterling, Sharpton wants to dismantle the Clippers and put all of the players up for a draft!
As expected, Nothing about Sharptons affinity for racism!
I am wondering .. did anyone else hear this show today?
What happens if I say racist remarks about Whites?
What happens if I make racist remarks against Blacks?
I live in both worlds but find myself defending my White half much more often than my black half!

I believe that the world should be neutral!
You don't like blacks then that is a personal choice and there shouldn't be a 'penalty' for saying so!
Same goes if you don't like whites, hispanics, asians etc. etc.
We got Hate Crimes laws passed because people found the way an individual 'Thinks" is offensive!

I guess that what set me off was .. the broadcast was a radio show.
I called and was on the phone for a good forty-five minutes.
When the screener finally answered, I told him what I wanted to say to the host in regards to Al Sharptons remarks .. He (the screener) hung up! 8(
Interestingly this may be coming out because of a lawsuit filed against Ms. V.

NFL has said they are going to try to cut down on “N-word” usage but that measure is probably going to be tabled.
From what I’m hearing, Sterling said something like he doesn’t want his girlfriend to be seen with Minorities, Blacks and Hispanics at games. I got the gist of what he said.
Harry Caray (spelling) long-time Chicago Cubs baseball announcer once said “the players are paid millions to play a kid’s game”.
This incident is unfortunate but Sterling had his privacy invaded, maybe not illegally but I’m not hearing Sterling using racial epithets.
I’m not sure why this is considered a “hatchet job.” Isn’t there a recording of Sterling telling his girlfriend not to associate with black people?
I used the term hatchet simply because that is what they have been doing ALL day!
