Fracking seems to be an issue at the top of many Coloradans minds in this political climate. Its almost impossible to turn on a television or the radio (or even youtube for that matter) without hearing about it. Many say that to create a social change you must train your army before you deploy it and the most basic army that the left continually uses? Children.
It makes sense, then, since there will be an effective fracking ban on the ballot this November, that the lefties are training and deploying their army. Its always a little creepy to see them out en force, though. Last week a Bureau of Land Management hearing was no exception. Children from the local middle school showed up protest the fracking of the Thompson River Valley. They parroted so many inaccuracies in their allotted time it seemed there must have been some systemic misinformation campaign aimed just at them. Then one little boy let it slip they were being taught all these facts at their school.
Regarding the effective fracking ban: you will hear over and over again that this is a ballot initiative about local control. This is a farce. Fracktivists are trying to figure out how to sell a fracking ban to mainstream Coloradans who realize that its a critical part of our economy, its very safe, and helps us to reduce our dependence on foreign oil. Creating a statewide local patchwork of different regulations will create a regulatory environment in Colorado which will discourage exploration, reduce the competitiveness of the state over others for oil and gas investment, and create an effective ban in state.
They say that when the facts are on your side, pound the facts. When the law is on your side, pound the law. When neither is on your side, pound the table. So now apparently, lefties, you send children up to use neither law nor facts to pound the table for you. Classy move.
The chins think that oil is for them....and they will pay anyone important who doesnt agree.
