Here we go again, and in Texas of all places. More anti-gun hysteria in our public schools.
In this case, two elementary school students were given 1.5 days of in school suspension for pointing their fingers like guns during recess.
The school claims the incident was “more serious than horseplay,” whatever that means.
The mother of one of the children spoke out against the suspension to a local Fox affiliate,
She said, “I asked them if they were serious and then I laughed.”
This is pretty much as close as we’ve gotten to suspending children for having an imagination. This is just the latest example of the zero tolerance hysteria which has swept our nation’s schools.

It was in Hutto, TX. This is a suburb of Austin. My guess is that a Commissar from the People’s Republic of Austin, and a graduate of UT-Austin, aka Pyongyang On The Colorado, is running the skool.
There will be idiots in Heaven, why should Texas be exempted?
I hear the Federal government is rolling out a new salute, middle finger extended and touching their brow to be used when they run into a formerly free serf.

I hope any parent whose child is suspended for a pop tart or a finger gesture will take their child to the gun range daily during the suspension. That’s what I would do, and I’m sure an NRA-certified instructor would come up with special arrangements to make it a great time for any child whose parents didn’t already have what was needed.
Wouldn’t it be great if kids responded to these excesses by copying the behavior so they too could get a day or two at the range?
Could this be considered a First Amendment right infringement?

If ANYTHING thinks that public schools in Texas are run any differently than California or the Northeast, they are SERIOUSLY WRONG.
The people running and ‘teaching’ in these schools come out of the SAME university programs as the people doing the same in the other 49 states.
Sure, you may think your local public school is ‘special’, and immune to this crap - but it is not.
Easy fix here........it will take some guts, though.

More and more Lefist libs are moving from the West and Northeast to Texas to flee their high taxes and in turn are affecting politics in Texas.
The Slimes had an op ed last year on how the Dims plan to takeover Texas will be hard but worth the efforts.

THE 2012 presidential race in Texas might as well have been in Mexico, so little did the Democrats campaign for the state’s 38 electoral votes.
Yet during a fund-raising swing on a sweltering July day, President Obama let a political secret out of the bag for his rich donors. “You’re not considered one of the battleground states,” he said, “although that’s going to be changing soon.”
Democrats are champing at the bit to turn Texas blue. “People are now looking at Texas and saying: ‘That’s where we need to make our next investment. That’s where the next opportunity lies,’ ” one Democratic state senator told Politico. There’s even optimistic chatter of Hillary Rodham Clinton’s capturing the state in 2016 if she runs for president.
But it’s going to take more than money or a Clinton. The only constant in politics may be change, but turning Texas blue — or even purple — is going to be a lot harder than most folks imagine. It will require hard work, political infrastructure and a vision of Hispanic voters that goes beyond immigration reform.
Texas was reliably Democratic for more than a century, from Reconstruction through the Lyndon B. Johnson years. Johnson ably — albeit cynically and sometimes illegally — harnessed the Hispanic vote to keep his more reactionary opponents off balance in primaries.
But the liberal 1960s drove white conservatives into what was once a minuscule Republican Party. With the help of Rust Belt migrants in the 1970s, Republican strength grew under John G. Tower, Bill Clements and the elder George Bush. ...

The purpose of this government school anti-bullying, zero-tolerance, and anti-violence policies is POWER!
The purpose is to raise up generations of girly-boys who are incapable of defending themselves, their families ( if they can figure out how to get out of their single-mom’s basement) and our nation's freedom.
Yes, the NRA will win skirmishes but unless conservatives SHUT DOWN THE GOVERNMENT INDOCTRINATION CAMPS in one to two generations no private citizen in this nation will own a gun.
Yet again let me advocate for a “common sense in authority” state law.
That is, when an adult person in a position of public authority carries out an act which defies common sense, it should open the door to civil litigation against them. For example, in public schools:
1) Zero tolerance rules.
2) Summoning police officers for minor disciplinary problems.
3) Embracing “magic”, such as imagining a Pop-Tart(tm) chewed to look like a gun *is the same* as a real gun.
Likewise, such a state law would apply to police officers:
1) When summoned to a school to arrest a student for a petty disciplinary infraction, they agree to the arrest.
2) Shooting family pets that do not represent any reasonable threat to the officer.
In any event, with some careful tailoring, the objective of this law would be to, in effect, *force* reason and common sense onto those who use their authority in an unreasonable and irrational manner.
Nearly every K-12 teacher in this nation was trained by godless Marxists in Marxist-run colleges and universities. This is true for both private and government K-12 schools. SCARY!
Conservatives run around like flies with their wings pulled off. They chase the political or social issue of the day. The Marxofascists laugh because they have the nation's kids.
I AM EXASPERATED! WHEN ARE CONSERVATIVES GOING TO WAKE UP???
We must shut down the government's single-payer and socialist-entitlement schools. We must find a way that each child in this nation has access to a private and conservative education. This likely means abandoning the entire concept of brick and mortar schools.
The trouble with Mexican-Americans is that they adapt to and embrace where they live, including its politics, far better than “that other great race”, which you know who I mean and I think you do.
Importantly, they do so out of self interest, which is a respectable thing. And this means several things:
1) Not all Mexican-Americans want illegal immigration, and the longer they remain in the US, the less they want it for cultural reasons. However, they *may* adopt it for political reasons, that is, if they are Democrats.
2) A lot of Mexican-Americans want good jobs and entrepreneurship for themselves. So they are very interested in employment and unemployment, as well as low business taxes and minimal government interference in their business. This is a very good way to approach them.
3) A lot of Mexican-Americans want to serve in the US military, which they correctly see as a big boost to their success, social status, and economic prospects.
Laws are only for men and women who are grounded in sound morality. Laws are for a people who have the essential goodwill to make a civilized society work.
No matter how well crafted laws may be, with definitions included for every word ( even “is”), in an evil society EVIL will leak through every time.
