Just hours after last weekends ouster of Ukrainian president Viktor Yanukovych, one of Pierre Omidyars newest hires at national security blog The Intercept, was already digging for the truth.
Marcy Wheeler, who is the new sites senior policy analyst, speculated that the Ukraine revolution was likely a coup engineered by deep forces on behalf of Pax Americana:
Theres quite a bit of evidence of coup-ness. Q is how many levels deep interference from both sides is.
These are serious claims. So serious that I decided to investigate them. And what I found was shocking.
Wheeler is partly correct. Pando has confirmed that the American government in the form of the US Agency for International Development (USAID) played a major role in funding opposition groups prior to the revolution. Moreover, a large percentage of the rest of the funding to those same groups came from a US billionaire who has previously worked closely with US government agencies to further his own business interests. This was by no means a US-backed coup, but clear evidence shows that US investment was a force multiplier for many of the groups involved in overthrowing Yanukovych.
But thats not the shocking part.

Alex, we’ve told you to stay over at InfoWars and don’t come sneaking over here every couple of months.
Gee, how’s that “coup” working out for you NOW, Pierre? Perhaps you should stick to hocking counterfeit handbags and fake jewelry online.
LMAO...Adam Kokesh for 50 Alex...
“But the real political power rests with Ukraines pro-western neoliberals. Political figures like Oleh Rybachuk, long a favorite of the State Department, DC neocons, EU, and NATOand the right-hand man to Orange Revolution leader Viktor Yushchenko.”
I’m wondering whether “wetphoenix” is posting from Moscow or from St. Petersburg? Seems to me that it must be one or the other.

Neither, sometime back he posted a comment about a storm in a city in Siberia stating it was near where he was.

Interesting. There was a post on FR back in late 2013 about Putin’s team of Internet hackers and trolls, who IIRC were based in St. Petersburg. I think the story said they were paid by the post, rather than being on salary. That is, they would appear to be contractors rather than the FSB’s direct hires.
So maybe an FSB contractor can easily relocate to Siberia after receiving his basic training in St. Petersburg?

LOL, If I’m a ‘paid troll’ or a ‘spy’ why would I ever post it?
