If there was no apology, I find it hard to believe that the offensive comment wasn’t retracted.
Our honorable military is absolutely the last American institution to attack by people who consider themselves Americans, whoever they are.

All 'someone' had to do on the day Virginia's death notice appeared on the 8th of August, was replace her birth data from the Wahiawa Hospital with a fake document for zero.
It's out of sequence because the perpetrator/s assumed she was born at Kapiolani because she died there.
The fake data was entered as a Kapiolani birth. Had it been entered with the batch from Wahiawa, it wouldn't be out of sequence.
And yes, that indicates the unidentified child was born before Virginia's death notice appeared, and probably wasn't even in Hawaii. IMO, that document switch required an accomplice with access to where-ever the documents were kept before they were recorded and stamped.

Ever since we got that new 22” flat screen and boxed set of the complete “Love Boat” series in the Mod Lounge our response time has suffered. You have to admit the antics of Isaac and Gopher are nice break from our cruel reality.

I agree. There are such things as context, understanding, and forgiveness, which ought not require an apology, imho. Anyone who followed what happened to Lakin should understand frustration. I read the thread. To say something makes one feel like doing something is not the same as doing it. How many times has everyone reading here thought or even said something out of frustration and anger that they would never, ever, ever do? It seems obvious to me from the context that the comment was not made against everyone in the military but a select group, with which many of us were equally frustrated and angry.
Well, since BDZ’s comment explaining the above is now deleted, no one will see what she actually meant.
