No, it's a good time to be young, and to overcome this demonic nonsense, both by fighting for the family, and by forming a family. There's a light at the end of the tunnel, and it isn't an oncoming train.
My only regret is that, as I become old, I have not been able to hand a family-friendly society to my children and grandchildren, as my parents and grandparents handed to me. But my children know what to do, and their children will learn.
