Who would you like to see as Ted Cruz' running mate in 2016?
one man's opinion...

OK, it's primary day...we're all nervously awaiting the results of several key races..so until the polls close, I thought we could kill a little time thinking ahead..while we digest Marco Rubio's announcement that he's thinking about running..

I see Mike Lee as a future Senate Majority Leader..if we run the table..or come close..this November..and if Mitch loses..I think we see a challenge to Cornyn...I actually read somewhere that Lamar is thinking “what if” if Mitch goes down the tube..can you just imagine that???

Palin. I want to see liberals with aneurysms over which to go after hardest. They are two of perhaps 5 I remotely ‘trust’ to do something good.

Jeff Sessions. We need someone over 50 years old with a long record of being on top of domestic and foreign issues as they’ve evolved.

That is funny! Can you see Sarah causing a record number of whack left liberal heart attacks again?

Agreed. Palin-Cruz is one of the best imaginable combinations.

While my primary belief it that they would attempt to fix what’s broke, I would take supreme pleasure in watching them self destruct in blind rage, growing ever more shrill and fatalistic. Valium and Xanax would lead to Thorazine and ultimately mental breakdown when their cries were ignored, their sacred cows slaughtered and their holy liberal sacraments defiled.

I, like MLK, have a dream.

The VP is a political calculation and not much more than that. Needs to balance Cruz and not be a idealogical clone of Cruz. Needs to be someone that can help bring in electoral votes. Rubio (florida) is my first thought although Ohio might be better. No problem with Rubio as VP if he can bring in votes ... or someone else. Biggest vote getter for VP.

If Ted Cruz were the nominee, here is my wish list, in order, for VP selection:
Sarah Palin
Allen West
Ben Carson
Scott Walker
Bobby Jindal

Edit, Palin/Cruz would attempt to fix / MSM freakout.

Sorry. Typed too fast.

CRUZ PRESIDENT
WEST VICE PRESIDENT Actually either one would be a good Prez
DR. CARTER Secretary of Health Education and Welfare

I would like the Secretary of Defense to report directly to Vice President West. In effect we would have a great Vice President doing an important job and also ready to step into the Presidents shoes if every necessary.

BOBBY JINDAL Secretary of the Veterans Administration

As much as I love and admire Sarah Palin I think she can do us more good on the outside of an Administration as inside. She is magnificent as she goes around the nation supporting good conservative and libertarian candidates. Her efforts has put many in office. Ted Cruz would not be Senator Cruz today without the help of Sarah Palin. She is tireless and relentless patriot and also a lovely woman. Tod Palin is a lucky man.

Not Willard, Rubio, Christie...

No liberals thank-you-very-much

Let’s have a Conservative for the VP spot...

Could be Palin, West, Blackburn..

The "optics" would be great, but there would be another round of accusations of "lack of experience" (even though Palin had more executive experience than Obama).

I like the suggestion of Susana Martinez.

Frank Lorenzo. I want someone who has experience in shutting things down and laying people (i.e. government union workers) off.
