I think there are a couple of good points here.
One, a self-avowed communist is embracing capitalism.
Two, if he can get black kids interested in education, kudos.
Maybe they can get rid of the stigma of black kids studying who are then accused of acting white. Its not acting white. Its doing what works.
I wish him success.
It would sure be one way of getting around the “acting white” canard.
Hundreds of thousands of dollars and man-months of tutoring did what for his ‘girl-friend’. ZIP. NADA. The head of the effort gave up saying that girl is just not motivated and our effort has been a failure.
