Obama's World Disorder
hoover Institution ^ | June 24, 2014 | Victor David Hanson

Amid all the talk of the isolationism that supposedly characterizes the Obama administration’s foreign policy, we forget that since World War II, the global order has largely been determined by U.S. engagement. The historically rare state of prosperity and peace that defined the postwar world were due to past U.S. vigilance and sacrifice.

Germany in the last 150 years has been at the center of three European wars, winning one, losing another, and destroying much of Europe and itself in the third. Yet present-day Germany has the largest economy in Europe and the fourth largest in the world. It is a global leader in high technology and industrial craftsmanship. For seventy years Germany, even after its second historic unification in 1989, has not translated such economic preeminence into military power, much less aggression. In fact, the strategic status quo of postwar Europe—with Britain and France, and their relatively smaller and weaker economies, as the continent’s two sole nuclear powers—remains mostly unquestioned.

That strange fact is due almost entirely to the U.S.-led NATO’s determination to protect the Eastern flank of Europe from potential enemies, to reassure Germany that it need not rearm to enjoy pan-European influence, and to quietly support the European nuclear monopolies of Britain and France. While the U.S. has always talked up the American-inspired United Nations, its first allegiance has always been to assure liberal democratic states in Europe of unshakeable American support. Any weakening of the latter might send Europe back into the tumultuous twentieth century.

Deception, stealth, obfuscation, unconstitutional hidden-agendas supported by drones at home.

Deception, stealth, obfuscation, unconstitutional hidden-agendas supported by drones abroad.

Welcome to the underbelly of the U.S.A. (United Socialists of America).

Wake up, Victor.

A couple of years ago on FR somebody posted a brilliant article with the best guess I’ve ever seen at why liberals do the exact opposite of what logic dictates. Liberals are waiting for and working towards utopia. And, no matter how good things are they are not utopia. We have arrived at this good but non-utopian state by following pretty good logical rules of good vs. evil, right vs wrong, etc. Liberals do the opposite of everything we’ve done in the past because that must be the way to utopia.

Wrong, wrong, wrong. You ascribe noble motives to leftists. They are cynical destroyers. Everything that is good, decent and productive must be brought down. Once you get that it all makes sense. They are trying to create a world that is comparable with their dark, empty souls.

“You ascribe noble motives to leftists. They are cynical destroyers. “

I know some tremendously successful liberals. I think, because of their success and their wealth relative to others they think that all others who are not as they are have some mental deficiency. Cynical, yes. Destroyers...that takes some fine parsing. They believe in abortion because, in their view, it’s only those lowly unsuccessful takers who are being aborted. (These are older, childless couples. They’re childless because children are bad for the planet, don’t-you-know.) They believe that some benevolent government should watch every move that “those” people make. Those people, for example, should not be free to buy gas-sucking huge trucks. But it’s okay for them to buy exotic cars with 400-500 horsepower. They, resent any intrusion into their personal space, by this large government which “they” do not need. But behind everything, I think, is this 1960’s search for utopia.

Obama is a marxist, PERIOD. Every thing he does is done thru the marxist perspective and mindset. He is the internal subverter, perverter and destroyer of America, and he has been exceedingly successful both in domestic and foreign affairs.

Our economy is a mess and much is in the hands (or will be in the hands) of the marxists and statists at the EPA, SEC, FCC, DOT, DOI, Agriculture, Homeland Security (aka Insecurity); Congress, the Democrats; the turncoat money-grubbing US Chamber of Commerce, and GOOD GERMANS of both parties.

Our military is a joke. A once 600 ship Navy is now on its way down to a bathtub navy. Meanwhile Red China and Iran’s navies are on the rise and aiming at regional domination, and eventually worldwide domination.

There are more rules for gay rights than there are sane Rules of Engagement.

We buy a few very expensive airplanes while our enemies mass produce moderately priced aircraft en masse. 500 enemy planes armed with multiple missiles, will defeat our fancy-smancy handful of F-35’s. It is simply a game of numbers and in that game, WE LOSE!

Our Abrams tanks are great, but they are not in Ukraine taking out the enemy, or in Iraq, doing the same.

B-52’s are great too, but if they are not used in Afghanistan and Iraq, then they are just show toys.

THe Secy of the Navy is a FOP if not a faggot. The Joint Chiefs of Staff is led by a former Marine (compare him to Howling Smith, or Buckner, or Puller and you’ll know what I mean).

There isn’t one Patton in the US Army (or at least one with his pants up).

The Air Force. Try Air Farce. Their leadership is pathetic and Politically Correct weak. I read correspondence from WW2 from Arnold, Doolite, LeMay, etc. Now those were real leaders, not PajamasBoys kissing the PC ass of Obama and his pathetic military advisors.

My son fought under Gen. Tommy Franks (Iraq). Franks wanted to win and did. Today’s generals want medals and promotions.

I remember meeting Gen. Cushman (Marines) in So. Vietnam. He was a fighter, not a PC lover.

Saw Gen. Cao Tri (ARVN tank force commander - their Patton). He was both a fighter and a lover, and a winner.

Look at the ignorant, arrogant, pathetic White House national security and political advisors - range from reds to dumbos and everyplace in between. Would you take advise from Pfoulfe, Axelrod, Pfeiffer, Rice, Power, McDonild, etc?

Not if you want to live and love your country.

Obama is not a “failed presidency”. He is an extremely successful communist traitor. Only when this is acknowledged, esp. by Bill O’Reilly, Charles Krauthammer, Karl Rove, etc. will we be able to get out the message that Obama is a Red and he intends to make America into the USSA, through regulation, laws, subversion, disinformation, and just plain old Joseph Goebbels “Big Lies”).

Treason is in season, while Reason is on vacation!
