Our culture in the US changed and it brought about entitlement focused voters. Kids being abandoned by dad and moms having babies for government checks. That started in about 1964 or 1965. Add 20 years to that and you have another generation of DEM voters. Likely a 5 - 6 fold increase from that one group. They too helped the DEMs they too changed Cali's political landscape. If every illegal left tomorrow morning Cali would likely still be a DEM state. The ideals of it were taught in homes and the classrooms. It wasn't just immigration that did it.

This path for California started distinctly during the Clinton Admin.... with the abandonment of Dornan (a man the establishment GOP hated) for Loretta Sanchez.. the darling (along with her sister) of the DEM Machine. Not one GOPe supported challenging the obvious and proliferate voter fraud of that election...twas the mid terms.
