Chamber Of Commerce On Immigration Reform: 'We're Going To Use Every Tool
Breitbart ^ | 14 Jul 2014 | CAROLINE MAY

The Chamber of Commerce has not been discouraged by the lack of legislative action on immigration reform. Instead, the business organization is digging in, pushing for an immigration overhaul as soon as possible. “We’re going to use every tool and resource at our disposal. And we’re going to keep pushing our leaders to do the right thing for our country, if not before the election, then after—perhaps during a lame-duck session,” U.S. Chamber of Commerce President Tom Donohue declared Monday in a blog post. Last month, President Obama announced he would be taking as many unilateral actions as he is able to overhaul the nation’s immigration system amid congressional intransigence. House Speaker John Boehner has said that there will not be a vote on immigration reform until Obama can be trusted to implement what they pass. According to Donohue, while leaders have shown they are unlikely to move forward with immigration reform in Congress this year, his body is not going to stop pushing for it. “Those of us who have been fighting for years for meaningful reform are disappointed by the lack of progress,” he wrote. “But we’re not discouraged, and we’re not deterred. In fact, the business community and our coalition of partners—including labor, law enforcement, the tech sector, civic organizations, and the faith-based community—are more determined than ever to fix our broken system.” The Chamber of Commerce has been a force for immigration reform, arguing that the reforms they seek will benefit the economy by expanding businesses' access to more employees and attracting more business investment to the U.S.

The CoC has used the conservatives back in the Clinton years. Now they see how they can get what they want from the dems. Sellouts, or maybe we’re just suckers.

We need Donahue’s address as well!

EXCELLENT MUST SEE 6 MINUTE BILL WHITTLE VIDEO!
Bill skillfully skewers the limousine leftist hypocrites on their phony “feel good” posturing on ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION.
Please help this one also go viral!  We have a country to save and we’re about out of time!!

How do we fight against this Chamber of Commerce who can’t seem to find employees among the 10% of adults unemployed or disabled because they can’t find a job in two years?

The Chamber of Congress is not a patriotic American organization. In fact, much of their leadership is from multinational corporations with no loyalty to the US at all.

So when RINOs are confused into thinking that the Chamber of Commerce is their constituency, they are failing both the United States and the people of the United States.

How come they don't use every tool for entitlement reform or to shutdown excessive spending. No they want to undo everything by comprehensive amnesty. I am beginning to think we should everything in our power to raise their taxes for this.

The Chamber of Commerce has turned into a traitor. It makes no sense that they want to destroy America, Yet this is what they are doing.

You have the solution. Conservatives should introduce legislation to raise taxes on business annually by painful increments so long as the U. S. Chamber of Crony "Capitalism" continues to foster immigration schemes, support spineless GOP Ruling Class friendly useless idiots for public office, and try to totally impoverish their former workforce. When the taxes get high enough, the Chambers of Crony "Capitalism" will surrender as their dues drop off. Boycott businesses that insist on belonging to this ultra corrupt organization.

It goes without saying that they have forfeited forever even the slightest consideration for their corporate welfare schemes that allow Obozo's business buddies like General Electric to make multi billion dollar profits year after year while being excused from corporate income taxes.

It also goes without saying that excessive spending goes the way of the dodo bird now and forever. To those who say it cannot be cut: Eliminate many of the grossly unconstitutional barnacles leeching off the government. We can live without: Foreign aid, any and all commissions dealing with "civil rights" and all their personnel, most State Department functions, imperial living standards enjoyed at our embassies, excess (most of it) funding for "leadership" staffs in both House and Senate, the entire Commerce, Labor, Education, Energy, Housing and Urban Development Departments, Bureau of Alcohol. Tobacco and Firearms, VISTA, the Peace Corps, all jobs in all cabinet departments and non-cabinet levels other than the Defense Department and U. S. Marshall's Service and Secret Service and Border Patrol and FBI, that claim a right to be armed (usually with fully automatic weapons and mountains of hollow point .45 ammo) like the Social Security System, etc., etc., etc.

I am surprised how many people here actually agree with me. I mean when you lower the taxes on the people who run the country what do you get? People who are willing to spend everyone Else’s money. I mean government is now 35%of the economy and you consider the contracts, the subsides and earmarks due to crony capitalism then you understand why these people are no longer interested in cutting spending. I never heard of big government conservatives thirty years ago when we started lowering their taxes. I think that term is just a term for people who are not paying enough taxes.

Coca-Cola is front and center on this. They signed the letter to Congress asking them to act on amnesty.

Maybe Coca-Cola should become the poster child for amnesty.

Amnesty-Cola?
