A "Mini-brat fest" produced by Metcalfe's Market, presented by Johnsonville, and in cooperation with Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek will be held from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, August 29 in the parking lot of Metcalfe's Market on Madison's west side adjacent to West Towne Mall. Just about a mile from where I’m sitting. I’ll go over at lunch. Poor kid.

For those who can help — a one day Brat Fest to help the 12 year old child who was stabbed 19 times by her “friends” in the “Slenderman” case. If you can’t make the Brat Fest (which is in Madison) you can donate at BMO Harris Bank.

FReep Mail me if you want on, or off, this Wisconsin interest ping list. Thanks knittnmom for the heads up.

I thought it was for the little brat that did the stabbing.

Did she survive?

The comment about medical bills indicates she did.

Why not make the families of the little serial killers in training pay for the medical bills. Parents should be responsible for their kid’s actions.

Have to be done via a civil suit, which is only a sure win after conviction of the perps. That would take a while; the medicos want their money up front, of course. Fundraiser's a stopgap measure.

One of the stabbers (both girls) has been declared insane and won’t be standing trial. Who knows how the other one will get out of it.

This girl survived and will be returning to school next week. I can’t believe the progress she’s made. The emotional scars must be huge, not to mention he body image-issues she’ll most likely have for the rest of her life.

A really sad story, all the way around.

I did not know she was declared insane! Shows what money can buy.
I am going to go back read the CCAP again.
I hope the civil suit is already in process. The one girl’s parents encouraged her obsession with slenderman.
