That statement is absent any logic whatsoever:

1) if government is viewed as unable to address concerns, elections should be held more frequently, not less so

2) Senators rotate according to 6 year staggered terms; some MUST be elected at mid-terms

These people have the reasoning skills of a brain-dead two year-old
