“In 2009, Nancy Pelosi encouraged Americans to read Gruber’s ObamaCare analysis, and now she is claiming she doesn’t know who Gruber is. The lack of transparency from the White House and Democrat leaders is appalling.”

It’s that famous parsing of words that the Clintons used, to avoid telling the truth. No, Obama did not personally write a check to Herr Gruber. The money came from the U.S. Treasury. They’ll try this well-worn tactic until everyone laughs at them.

Technically, he was not employed. He was a private contractor (and he got a no-bid contract). So they can say that and be technically not telling a lie and many will probably just accept it at that.

Anyone who pays Gruber for anything should demand their money back, if all his analyses are as bad as his analysis of Obamacare costs.
