My vote is that a group of people who saw all of the evidence voted not to indict. From what I understand, it is easy to indict a ham sandwich. Given that, I assume that the people assigned to view the evidence decided that the police officer was even less culpable in this matter than your average ham sandwich. I, for one, accept their decision. I would have accepted it either way.

The question is actually simpler: what do you think of the right to self defense?

If you think that is crazy you should see a link one FReeper posted to DU. They are asking whether a new Underground Railroad should be made to bring blacks out of Ferguson. Seriously!

A grand jury didn’t indict. Good or bad decision, it’s the law and our justice system.

Glad that Ferguson has “12 Honest Men and Women”. It does well for their image instead of having it portrayed as a civil war in the streets between “crackers” and innocent kids.

The DA did a great job of presenting both the process of how a grand jury operates as well as the evidence they reviewed.

Can’t say the same about Browne’s attorneys who should be disbarred for unethical and unprofessional conduct.

The GJ was given a smorgasbord of 5 possible indictments to choose from if they found evidence for any one of the 5 choices.

To MY mind, they were practically given an engraved invitation TO indict Officer Wilson. But when the EVIDENCE had been thoroughly considered, they could not justify ANY of the choices. Wilson did his job, AND defended his own life! End of story!
