It's not everyone, but a-holes like the one (and race has NOTHING to do with it) in this photo don't want justice or the truth. Nice try, but unless you are going to be honest, why bother commenting. How many white people were caught on camera looting? [crickets]

I tried looting in my rural neighborhood and all I got was rabies from sticking my arm in a raccoon’s den.

In this instance the racial divide is clear, but lets not pretend only black people are capable of the violence going on over there.
It's not about race, that's more incidental to me (clearly you disagree, and that's fine), it's about a culture of depravity and the results of it.

I think that Spoon was trying to say that it is not necessarily racially motivated but actually a cultural divide.....or that the ‘riots’ were inspired by external, communist groups.

Re: comment # 12: In addition, most of the troublemaking, pot-stirrers were white.

I guess I associate culture to the people that practice it. The culture of radical muslims is to kill non-believers. The culture of the Amish is to practice a strictly religious life style, where community service is the rule, not the exception. What is the culture of inner city blacks?

Nothing like Colt 45 Malt liquor to make them forget their pain...

You just hit on what my intended point was. Race alone doesn’t dictate behavior, culture does. The preponderance of a certain race or ethnicity in a culture is more a matter of circumstance. I don’t think an Anglo Muslim (for instance) who takes up jihad would behave any differently than the Arab Muslims who do.

"...because it always devolves into extremely irrational behavior and rhetoric on both sides..." Always?
Your graphic is illustrative of a point of view, but I think you should have withheld your disclaimer.
I don't think it takes a great deal of rationality to see the two sides telling a story here, and using a small amount of intellectual capability to determine that one side is a complete fabrication, and the other side is very plausibly true with evidence to back it up.
You do yourself and your thread a disservice with that disclaimer. Just my opinion here. I usually like the things you post, but I didn't really understand why you had to preface your thread with a comment like that one.

Note all the “Hoodies” up.....favorite mask used to day to hide ones identity 24/7....just in case the mood strikes or opportunity presents itself.
These aren’t protests...these are riots.
