Documented: Black Students Target Teachers for Violence

If all you knew about racial violence came from the protestors at a Manhattan Sunday brunch, you would know that black people are victims of relentless white violence.

In the real world, black mob violence and black-on-white crime are astronomically out of proportion.

Especially in schools. Especially directed at teachers. Especially this week in Monroe, Yonkers, Little Rock, and Buffalo.

Let’s start in Monroe, Louisiana. Facebook videographer “Tanglewood Hard Hitta” transports us into the middle of a few dozen black teenage girls fighting and screaming.

Teacher’s aide David Payne was trying to break it up when Ryan Marquez Gix took a running start at Payne, all the while slipping into a set of brass knuckles. Then from behind, he bashed Payne in the face.

Well thank you for teaching. I’m sure it’s a thankless job. Here in pittsburgh though I have little sympathy for our progressivist, union hacks in the school peddling their common core & revisionist history, all the while going on strike at the drop of a hat. My child attends Catholic private school and her teachers are adorable. I thank God for those folks.

Good Lord. Who the hell would sign up for that???? And why on Earth isn’t the union speaking out on behalf of it’s members & exposing this????

Yikes. Prayers for you & your colleagues.

“They question why violence is taught in homes of color. Missing from this analysis however is how these boys might be affected by growing up in a White-governed country fatherless household which threatens young men of color by lack of a role model at will, distrusts destroys their ability to succeed and follow the law, and allows daily racial stress to mount in neighborhoods, schools and classrooms.”

I know it is never a simple answer but with everything you are saying I don’t understand the decision to stay. I believe what you are saying so why is there not a mass exodus of teachers from the NYC schools? I know there will be individual cases where one cannot leave but I would think the trend would be to get the heck out of dodge.

“White educators are prone to wondering why black and brown boys are prone to fighting in school,” he writes. “They question why violence is taught in homes of color...."

I witnessed something in a store the other day. A black child had climbed onto a rolling cart and was push-riding it up and down the aisle like a scooter, ignored by her parent. A black assistant manager came over and scolded the child and the mother rather harshly, citing safety concerns. The mother acted like a teenager, rolling her eyes and conspiring with the child to scorn the employee; but the child did stop playing in the rolling cart.

Then another set of two small black siblings started playing in a rolling cart, the one in the cart and the other pushing cart up and down the aisle at some speed, ignored by their mother.

A white woman approached the mother and said, "I just saw the assistant manager stop another child from riding in the carts, so I thought I'd mention it." The black mother immediately turned and swatted both her children and scolded them loudly and nonsensibly, since she had plainly ignored their behavior inches away from her: "You get outta dere! You know you ain't suppose to do dat! Why you always in trouble! Get down!" etc etc, continuing to hit the children.

The white woman was appalled that the children were being blamed and hit, and tried to help the mother calm down, saying, "Hey, it's no big deal — I just didn't want the manager to come down on you..." but the black woman turned her back.

The incident saddened me. Cr*p rolls downhill, until someone figures out that they have to stop it in their own life. I hope those kids figure it out; or have a good teacher or mentor somewhere along the way.

We know it has nothing do to with Hollywood, Rap Music or any other entertainment venue.

That's right! Media advertising causes people to buy things they don't need; but violence and porn in media do NOT cause people to commit porn or violence!

Besides, "it's the parents' responsibility to control what their children see!"

Exactly. Why worry about education, or succeeding? Gov’t will be there to give you everything you need to procreate at your leisure: No worries about role models, housing, food, transportation, etc. etc. etc.

Now, where the stud(y/ies) of the ‘hood wishing to escape? The so called ‘sell-outs’ whom are ‘acting white’ and get the beat-down from their own? The Oreos, the Uncle Toms, the names not fit to type....Same ‘(white) racism’? I think not in ANY case.

IMHO, the simplest ‘fix’: make schooling like every OTHER service; paid by those that USE them. No property taxes/etc. No teacher/biz/etc. would ALLOW such behavior when their paycheck is on the line

ANOTHER REASON TO HOMESCHOOL

This ping list is for the “other” articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)

The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.

The conceit of liberals (and many conservatives) is that everybody can be educated or raised to be a productive citizen. The overwhelming evidence is that is not true. Obviously, many people in the inner-cities cannot be educated or civilized. They should be separated from the kids who want to learn and never allowed back in.

What to do with them? Well, the little creep who knocked the teacher out should be prosecuted and sent to a work colony. These jerks should be breaking rocks in some pretty miserable places. Then they should make films of them breaking the rocks (and getting lashed when they won't work) and the films shown to gradeschoolers. That might improve the attitudes of many of these would-be miscreants.

I agree however lets not forget that most URBAN(not all but most) teachers are liberals who support wholeheartedly gun control.

Fixed it for you. In the suburbs it is about 50/50, in the rural areas it is about 80-85% conservative. The problem is that the cities have the voting blocks, due to population.

I taught in the Buffalo School system for a year and a half. Walking down the hall one day I see my teaching partner disciplining a student. Another student grabbed his arm from behind and was going to sucker punch him. I grabbed the student and bounced him off the wall.

We escorted both students to the office. Their punishment was 3 days in school suspension.

A friend of mine at another city school was breaking up a fight between a boy and a girl. The boy disengaged immediately. When he turned to the girl She kicked him in the groin with a steel toed work boot. He ended up having a testicle removed and was out of work for 6 months.

The girl was charged with assault and he sued her/ family. They had nothing as they were EBT people.

She spent 30 days at the juvenile detention center and her records were sealed.

You could not pay me enough to teach at an urban school again.

Years ago I was told by a black student: "Sometimes you just gotta beat them, it's the only way they listen."

I was shocked and I thought to myself: Sure after years of beating they get immune to anything else and you just have to escalate the violence."

When the only tool you have is a hammer the whole world looks like a nail. When this is the only form of discipline they have they have to pass it on.

The kid you “sucker punched” a teacher’s aide passed out after one punch...the unidentified man was “unarmed” as per the definition of the news during Mikey Brown’s uproar...

Yeah - he had brass knuckles which aided I’m sure the 1 hit knock out - but depending where and how hard a punch is delivered to the skull - one wouldn’t need brass knuckles...the aide had a fracture skull and bleeding of the brain...and the Media hounded the police officer for shooting Mikey Brown....

whatever....they want division - not answers - it keeps people like Al Sharpton from getting a real job!

Good ideas. There have always been discipline issues in school. But its good to ask why was it, in 1950,or 1960, we didn’t have problems of kids attacking teachers? Why were teachers of yesteryear able to administer discipline and they can’t seem to today? What has changed? I know that banning corporal punishment is one reason but I’m sure there are other things going on as well.
