You know what Mitt? Now that I think about it, forget what I've said. You are the man the GOP and America needs right now. Like Obi-Wan, you are our only hope. You were robbed last time and Americans are longing to show you how wrong we were and are begging you to sacrifice your comforts so that we may make amends.

In closing...

RUN MITT, RUN!

Yes! Run Mitt! Run Away and NEVER Return >:(

"As U.S. real output grew 13 percent between 2002 and 2006, Massachusetts trailed at 9 percent.
* Manufacturing employment fell 7 percent nationwide those years, but sank 14 percent under Romney, placing Massachusetts 48th among the states.
* Between fall 2003 and autumn 2006, U.S. job growth averaged 5.4 percent, nearly three times Massachusetts' anemic 1.9 percent pace.
* While 8 million Americans over age 16 found work between 2002 and 2006, the number of employed Massachusetts residents actually declined by 8,500 during those years.
"Massachusetts was the only state to have failed to post any gain in its pool of employed residents," professors Sum and McLaughlin concluded.
In an April 2003 meeting with the Massachusetts congressional delegation in Washington, Romney failed to endorse President Bush's $726 billion tax-cut proposal."

[Cato Institute annual Fiscal Policy Report Card - America's Governors, 2004.]

Alex Beam: “In truth, Ronald Reagan
and Mitt Romney have as much in common
as Cardinal O’Malley and Conan O’Brien.
Deservedly or not, Reagan earned a reputation for constancy.
Once he turned against communism, he opposed it big-time.
…. And our former governor? Inconstancy, thy name is Mitt!
A woman’s right to choose? Yes! No! Yes!
Are we in Massachusetts? Yes! Are we in Iowa? No!
Are we on TV? Whatever!”

Obama already implemented most of Romney’s agenda, Romneycare, gays in the military, liberal judges, gay marriage, Romney’s moment has long passed.

Mitt couldn’t get out the Republican base. He won the sacred “Independents”...and it didn’t win the election for him. He couldn’t carry the base or the evangelical or Tea Party people. I was told that many did not want to vote for a Mormon. Fair enough. We tried. He lost. He’s still a Mormon. He will lose again.

I am a conservative, not a Republican.

In the primary and in the general election, I will vote for the candidate that most closely represents my values. In the last election cycle, the GOP decided to run a demonstratively non-conservative candidate.

So my choices cam down to socialist and socialist lite. Since both choices were unacceptable to me, I voted for the most conservative candidate which was third party.

I would remind the GOP that if they continue to not run conservative candidates, they will continue to not receive my (and millions of other voters like me) vote. Moving to the middle while pissing off your base is a good way to lose the support of your base.

We will see the emergence of a president with the ability to rebuild this once great nation by giving it back to the people, or we will elect a Romney.

I think Mitt and his family deserve more than the kick in the teeth they received from the voters. Such a good man and his family do not need to turn the other cheek. I never understood what was so bad that the country needed change. But hey, they got what they voted in. I’m just royally pi$$ed that the results are imposed on me when I could see the writing on the wall. Idiots.

Mitt Romney is a narcississt who is just running for his own ego boost. The only problem I have is that he is going to drag the Republicans down with him just like he did in 2012.

The problem is not the candidates, even the losing ones seeking a rematch.

The problem is the consultant and lobbyist axis who proffer nothing but fear, political correctness and fence-sitting.

The Karl Rove approach of fingers-crossed, let’s inch our way to 270 electoral votes is shameful and cowardly. If you’re going to lose narrowly by being a RINO, why not try to win big by being a conservative and a patriot?

Mitt needs to stay the hell away.

In 2012’s economic conditions, with the variety of scandals and foreign policy screw-ups.. he could barely scratch past 200 electoral votes?! Really!? That’s damn pathetic, and he has no business showing his face in this kind of race ever again.

The guy has this really strange reaction when people don’t buy what he seems to think he’s doing a good job of selling. It’s pretty unsettling in a screaming “arrogance” sort of a way. I wonder which came first, Mitt the presidential candidate or Rodney Rotten the cartoon villain (for whom he’s a dead ringer).

The problem with Mitt is that he has not been or acted like he was “all in” as they say either time he has made a run in the past. He also has the problem of not being a conservative. We have tried all the establishment choices and what has it got us. A loss for the presidency every time. I’m tried as hell and I’m not going to take it anymore. Mitt can go somewhere else to sell his tonic water. I will have none of it this time around. I only voted for him last time because I did not have a choice after he won the primary.
