That would suck. Personally, I wouldn't accept a government subsidy under any circumstances, because I don't believe in free lunch's

I am not sure that getting your premium back to what is was before ACA a free lunch. If you can manage your cash flow so you are paying no or little premium, that is a free lunch..

You’ve got a point, but it still comes with a price. If the “exchange” were a true marketplace, the market price would be less than what you used to pay. Any subsidized product or service is by definition priced above what the free market would pay.
