H.J.R.XXX One Hundred Fifteenth Congress of the United States of America

AT THE FIRST SESSION

Begun and held at the City of Washington on (Place date here) An Act To revoke the tax exempt status of all Islamic organizations in the United States. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE AND TABLE OF CONTENTS. (a) Short Title- This Act may be cited as the `Islamic Organization IRS revocation Act of 2015. SECTION 2. Revocation of Islamic organizations tax exempt status Whereas, under the Internal Revenue Code, all section 501(c)(3) organizations are absolutely prohibited from directly or indirectly participating in, or intervening in, any political campaign on behalf of (or in opposition to) any candidate for elective public office. Contributions to political campaign funds or public statements of position (verbal or written) made on behalf of the organization in favor of or in opposition to any candidate for public office clearly violate the prohibition against political campaign activity. Violating this prohibition may result in denial or revocation of tax-exempt status and the imposition of certain excise taxes.

Whereas, it has been determined that Islam is not a religion but a political system that is in opposition to the laws and traditions of the United States;

Whereas, Islam has proven to be a violent political cult whose main reason for existing is the subjugation of the population of not only the United States but the world;

Whereas, Islam’s guide, the Quran, is a book filled with a call for violence, prejudice against women, political domination and perversions;

Whereas, the sacrifices of members and veterans of the Armed Forces on behalf of the United States in fighting Islam should never be forgotten; and

Whereas, Islam does not meet the guidelines of a religion based on IRS guidelines:

Therefore, now be it so declared,

That the House and Senate supports the revocation of any and all tax exemptions now enjoyed by Islamic institutions.

I kind of thought that it would be nice to tax THEM for a change.

You won’t get anywhere with that. Any such action or law would have an injection against it in a day or two, and be overturned in a court of law, in the long run.

The ONLY chance you would have is to pass a Constitutional Amendment ... then it couldn’t be overturned.

I’m not so sure. Maybe. But I am convinced Islam is not a religion.

There would be a chance that an Activist Federal Judge would claim the law is unconstitutional.

Maybe. But it would be fun to watch them debate this Bill on the floor!

Well, we’ve already had several court cases on just the aspect of not allowing Islam’s Sharia Law into our court system. Oklahoma passed it as an Oklahoma Constitutional Amendment by 70% of the vote in Oklahoma. It was overturned by the courts as unconstitutional.

NOW ...you could pass such a law disallowing ALL 501(c)(3) organizations in having any tax exemption. What you can’t do (as it will be declared unconstitutional) is to pick out just ONE of those organizations. That’s the nature of the problem.

I understand your argument. However, if it was decided that Islam is not a true religion-———

The word "Whereas" is always indented... but I believe House and Senate bills i.e. other than continuing resolutions, or joint resolutions, do not use that sort of language (Whereas, Resolved, &c.). Rather, they follow a format of sections with an outline format very much like the law it will become as written into the U.S.C.

I am not a lawyer, legislator, or style guide guru...

I should ALSO SAY that Islam is certainly a religion ... but it is a religion that covers ALL ASPECTS of life for that adherent ... which INCLUDES governmental authority! So, it has an additional aspect from what we believe in this country, in that here we don’t allow religious practices and doctrine to become part of governmental law. In other Muslim countries around the world, they do ... to VARYING DEGREES, depending on what country.

In this country, those adherents are PROHIBITED from making Islam part of the legal and governmental structure, although, we can see some degree of them trying to, anyway.

Keep in mind that although Christianity doesn’t maintain that it must be part of the governmental structure and that Christian doctrines are not “law” in this country ... THAT WILL BE THE CASE for Christianity, in the near future, when the Messiah of Israel sets up his one-world government with FULL LEGAL AUTHORITY over all the nations of the world, with the world capital being in Jerusalem. It’s not the case NOW with Christianity, but it will SOON BE THE CASE!

In the USA, because of the U.S. Constitution’s “hands off” attitude toward “religion” and in NOT having the Constitution actually “decide” what is a religion and what is not ... you can basically declare about ANYTHING to be a religion, just on the basis of you saying so.

There has been a “hands off” attitude, in law, for keeping the government OUT OF DECIDING what is a religion and what is not. Just about ALL RELIGIONS will “back it” in order to keep it that way, so that no government will be able to say ...”You are not a religion.”

Legally speaking ... ALL RELIGIONS will back Islam on that count!

I see your point. HOWEVER, the IRS seems more than willing to decide what a religion is and what it can or cannot do.

I noted afterward that you wrote it as a house joint resolution.... IIRC, joint resolutions are able to become law.

Here is the parable of the wheat and tares ...

24 Another parable He put forth to them, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field;

25 but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way.

26 But when the grain had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tares also appeared.

27 So the servants of the owner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?’

28 He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’ The servants said to him, ‘Do you want us then to go and gather them up?’

29 But he said, ‘No, lest while you gather up the tares you also uproot the wheat with them.

30 Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.” ‘ “

ISLAM is certainly a false religion and one from Satan (as are all other false religions). The problem with “man” trying to institute a “theocratic society” and ENFORCE (in law and action) what is right and what is false, is that it is impossible for “man” to do that, without also causing harm to the righteous. Only God can do that “in righteousness” and he will do that, at the time of his coming to earth again.
