Jalene Salinas loves Taylor Swift.
All the 4-year-old Texas girl wanted was a chance to meet her idol and dance to her hit song Shake It Off.
Meeting the pop singer was the only thing left on what the toddlers bucket list as the family calls the list that they started about 10 months ago after she was diagnosed with brain cancer.
On Monday night, the little girl got her wish.
Jalenes mom Jennifer Arriagas told Eyewitness News that the pop singer chatted with the family for 20 minutes during a surprise call via Facetime.

"Theres nothing else they can do for her, said Arriagas, who added her daughter might only have weeks to live. They told us anything that you want to do with her now or she wants to do, go ahead and do it.
Very sweet of Taylor Swift to comfort this child with a facetime meeting.
So sad..prayers sent for this beautiful little angel
Cancer sucks. My wife lost her sister about 6 weeks ago to it.

Such a sweet little girl with a loving family.
Hoping for a miracle...
Our son, Daniel, was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer last October.
The doctor told him that he had up to 6 months without treatment and perhaps between 6 months and two years with treatment - he stated he had never seen anyone with masses the size and position that Dan had (8cm mass in lower lobe of left lung and similar at top of lung and into chest cavity - wrapped around the vena cava and aorta so it was inoperable and also into the lymph nodes) live beyond 2 years.
Since I first became part of the cancer warriors ping list and let folks know what was going on with us, he went through bouts of chemo and about 40 sessions of radiation.
He was told to relax and try to gain some weight for about a month before they took another cat scan and MRI.
He was scanned last Thursday and we got the results today.
The doctor was impressed as there was no sign of the cancer in the scans. He said that with small cell, they cannot be sure they got it all, but it looked very good for now. Even though the lymph nodes had been involved, there was also no sign that it had spread to his brain which was another concern.
Next appointment is in 3 months for more scans. If they look good, he will be on a 3 month cycle to keep tabs on his condition.
There are no guarantees, but God and medical science have worked wonders and given him and us a ray of hope for some more good years with him around.
I appreciate all the prayers and the few posts telling me of possible alternative treatments. My prayers will continue to be with all those on the ping list.
I wish to remain part of the ping list in case I get ant other news and if I might be able to be a comfort to others.
God Bless.
Praise God and continued prayers for Daniel.
Trebb, that is such wonderful news! Thank you for letting us know. I’m going to copy and paste your post on the other thread and send a ping to everyone again...
There are some who say that Taylor Swift is no good. Please! Taylor Swift has become a good example for many young women today. Godspeed to the family of this young girl and to Taylor Swift
Very sorry for your loss.
I hate these sad things with children.
Always has me crying.
So sorry she is in such trouble, and thankful to Miss Swift for helping out.
God bless this little girl and her family.
I am sorry about your loss.
I watched my sister die about 2 years ago. I can’t believe it. I think about her alot. So much life. And what she would say, think, etc. And we lost another great conservative to boot.
