Wow! That makes you on expert on this subject. I’m glad you posted here. You can probably understand these two things a lot better than I can.

http://globenewswire.com/news-release/2014/09/13/665815/10098518/en/BallistiCrete-a-Bulletproof-Wall-Plaster-Passes-Extreme-Military-Level-Testing-For-Homes-Schools-or-Offices.html

In hostile environments where safety from small arms fire is needed, BallistiCrete offers the protection you need. H.P. White Laboratory tested and passed NIJ Level III and NIJ Level IV Armor Piercing. Tested against 7.62 AK-47, 30.06, .30AP, .40 Cal. 9mm, 357 magnum, .44 and .45 magnum, multi shots Uzi automatic machine gun fire and even Desert Eagle .50 caliber rounds, BallistiCrete can stop penetration into the structure. Easy to apply to the substrate for quick application, turns almost any room into a “safe room” protected environment. If you are looking to convert existing rooms or buildings into bullet resistant environments without calling attention to local threats, interior coatings can be applied quickly and quietly without the need for specialized machinery. BallistiCrete™ is an ideal interior coating in neighborhoods suffering with drive-by shootings, banks, schools, police departments, military installations, embassies, restaurants, night clubs, hospitals, retail stores, safe rooms, house interior walls, offices and anywhere requiring bullet resistance.

Think of the products main defense as a erosive ceramic that grinds down the projectile to destroy it before it will punch through....... ceramic body armor plates are a good example of the theory. Also consider that some companies that make hardened up personal vehicles now are using a spray in ceramic to keep your armored up mercedes as lightweight as possible.....ballistic resistant glass weight aside.

Stay Safe !!

Ah, I see.

I must say I laughed at the dark humor in that AOL On video when they said a taxman had put ballisticrete on the inside rooms of his house.

What you say is so true. It’s not like we don’t have enough of our own domestic thugs...we are seeking to import more.

(By “we” I don’t mean you and I or anyone I know)

That’s a good thought. No point having the walls bulletproof if the windows can be shot out.
