Valerie Jarrett née Bowman was born in Iran in 1956 to African-American parents. A DNA test reveals French, Scottish and American Indian ancestry, as well. During Jarrett's formative years in Iran, she acquired fluency in Farsi and French. In 1983, she married Chicago Sun-Times reporter Vernon Jarrett. Her Iranian background and Muslim ties were carefully hidden by the Obama campaign in 2008. Jarrett’s family history is riddled with radical affiliations. In 1991, she was deputy chief of staff to Chicago's Mayor Richard Daley. Jarrett hired Michelle Robinson and introduced Michelle and Barack into a wealthy well-connected circle of left-wing extremists. As pre-eminent senior advisor to Obama, Jarrett holds a commanding position in the White House.

The Abraham Lincoln School for Social Sciences was a Chicago institution of the 1930s and 1940s, run by the Communist Party USA.

A South Side annex to the school was is located at 4448 South Michigan Avenue, Chicago. Dr. Walter S. Neff was director. Instructors included Albert George, Charlie Mitchell, Lester Fox, Geraldyne Lightfoot, Ishmael Flory, David Englestein, Irving Herman, Earl Durham, Claude Lightfoot and Walter Miller.
