Mr. Obama never released his grades at any school he attended, never wrote an article, even though he was editor of the law review, etc. Mr. Cruz on the other hand, wrote numerous articles as editor and was also executive editor of the Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy, and a founding editor of the Harvard Latino Law Review. THREE law reviews!
While at Princeton, he competed for the American Whig-Cliosophic Society’s Debate Panel and won the top speaker award at both the 1992 U.S. National Debating Championship and the 1992 North American Debating Championship. In 1992, he was named U.S. National Speaker of the Year, as well as Team of the Year, with his debate partner, David Panton. Cruz was a semi-finalist at the 1995 World Universities Debating Championship, making him Princeton’s highest-ranked debater at the championship. Princeton’s debate team later named their annual novice championship after Cruz.

I see the difference, obviously. But the relative merit is not what I’m referring to. It is the argument itself.
It's a joke how the entire left, the press, the professors, all of them, cover for the Magic One.
