Although Hitler echoed Soviet-style central economic planning with a Four Year Plan, his method was suffocating regulation rather than outright expropriation. There was nominal private ownership but government control

By continually telling us we are surrounded by enemies, and that they walk among us. And that universal surveillance, violating all constitutional protections, and other repressive measures are critical for our own safety.
Seems like a guy named Hayek wrote the manual on this topic.
[[How Dictators Come To Power In A Democracy]]
Very simple- when there is no opposing party, there is no leash, and the ruling party can do whatever they feel like it because there is nothing to stop them-
well the excerpt looks like we are in the muddle of above-metioned puddle.
I wish I could convince some of my friends even family ;the
beliefs they are carrying are not good for society at large.
but who am I in the morass of evilness that has descended
upon our country and it’s implementer Junior
It’s true that Hitler didn’t just pop out of a vacuum. Dependence on government was a big factor, one which liberals today are all too willing to forget. If Hitler were to run today as a Democrats, liberals would be voting for him in droves. He spoke their language. Liberals also claim he wasn’t a socialist—but he called himself one, he railed against capitalism, nationalized industries, instituted profit sharing, all the stuff that socialists do. The mistaken belief of liberals is that socialism and fascism are mutually exclusive, which is completely unfounded and untrue.
Or, “Meet the new Boss...”. Peter Townsend.
“We should understand that Hitler didnt take over a small government with an effective separation of enumerated, delegated and limited powers. He took over a large welfare state. “
What a great point. The creation of a monolithic voting bloc which will vote according to it’s needs. He or She who promises the most will be elected. There’s no concern with sustainability, no thought of anything beyond the next few payments or gifts or what have you. The state essentially guarantees its perpetuation.
It’s a powerful point sure to be dismissed by those who owe their power to these self same forces.
Yes, I’ve always sort of said that communism in practice is just another flavor of fascism. Liberals often say that fascism is private corporations taking over government, but how is that different from government taking over private corporations? Corporatism was in fact an element in Mussolini’s version of fascism, but it was not the defining factor. It’s more a statist type of society where a person’s rights are determined by their rank in government. No rank, no rights. Similar to ancient Rome under the Caesars.

I have agreed with what Powell is saying since Obama’s realtively unreported conduct with the Orange Party campaign in Kenya, 2007 which resulted in intertribal warfare and genocide, and many others have also written extensively in that vein:

Precisely.
Democracy is the CAUSE of dictatorship. Pure democracy ALWAYS end with a dictator, which is WHY the 1789 US government was created with many antidemocratic features, which, having all been dismantled, no longer protects us.

Thank you.
In the true political spectrum you have totalitarianism on the left and anarchy on the right.
Republics general fall in the center, and currently the Democrats fall just short of totalitarianism with the republican party just to the left of center.
The totalitarians want total control over every aspect of your life and a government big enough to do that. Conservatives want a minimal government, freedom and individualism which falls to the center.
Anarchists want to do away with any controlling legal authority.
Put into the true perspective with regard to personal freedom, this chart shows why we cannot permit democrats to prevail.
This isn't entirely accurate below, but it's close:
