Gerald Butts’ was equating Christians with devil-worshippers

Gerald Butts, the principal advisor to the Liberal Party leader, spent part of Easter Sunday tweeting. In one tweet, he wrote, “With all the bible quotes on @twitter, a reminder from Willy Shakespeare: ‘The devil can quote scripture for his purpose.’”

Butts was called out for his tweet and it was pointed out to the principal advisor that perhaps Easter Sunday was not the best day to take a pot shot at Catholics. Butts, in true Grit fashion defended himself by saying he is Catholic and nowhere did he mention “Catholics,” (true). He later tweeted that people often quoted the bible for self-serving purposes.

Shakespeare got his line all wrong. Satan MISquotes scripture for his own purpose.

He later tweeted that people often quoted the bible for self-serving purposes.

Did he also tweet that people often tweet for self-serving purposes?

Bebe Turd-owe is happy bashing Christians and Jews but molly-coddles muhamedans. He is to Roman Catholicism in Canada, what O’Venal is to Protestantism in the US. He hides behind the ‘Roman Catholic’ banner when it suits him but otherwise does all he can to advance his secular beliefs.

Unless he has an epiphany like his old man did, when he was an old man, Bebe Turd-owe is heading for a very dark and hot eternity, and is trying to bring Canada to the same place.

Would I be wrong to suspect that Trudeau belongs to the same branch of "Catholicism" as do the Kennedys down here?

Oh my, yet another reason why Justin has really disappointed a lot of people (witness his being way ahead in the polls one or two years ago and now either tied or even behind the Tories).

I guess the Kennedy family Bible omits Proverbs 5:15 ‘Drink water from your own cistern and fresh water from your own well.’, and a host of other scripture. In his favour, this doesn’t appear to be a character flaw of Turd-owe. No word on his having flings.

Baby Turd-owe, like the vast majority of Quebecois, likely only attends mass at Easter (perhaps) and Christmas. In case of attack for statements that are counter to Christianity, he suddenly transforms into Mr. Piety. Like most liberals/socialists, a hypocrite. Certainly a soul mate of O’Venal and the Kennedy clan, a fellow traveler. Incidentally, his team includes some of the same people as O’Venal sent to try to defeat Bibi. We can only hope for similar results in our Fall election, as the Israeli election!
