Rather than fill up the '58 Cadillac and let it idle all day, I put a cinder block on the accelerator to speed up the fuel consumption. When the tank nears empty, I'll fill it up again and repeat. In fact, I'll do it all day now that gas is cheap!
Nothing says I love Mother Earth like Detroit heavy metal belching raw exhaust for hours on end.
Huff my exhaust, algore! See it. Feel it. Smell it.

I would crank the Willys jeep but I am stuck waiting on a 5 dollar fitting that parts houses used to carry but not anymore.
Amazon.com saved the day. Bummer is that it is 3rd party and not a prime so it’s snail mailing the way here.

It’s too unseasonably cold to do much in Iowa.

My guitar player installs solar systems as his main occupation. He’s installed a 20 panel system on his home and just did a 60+ panel installation of another home around here. I need to do it to, but I’m still focusing on erecting buildings. The solar will come later. It’s not to save money. It’s to ensure I have power in the coming years.

Saw a group of 5 model Ts a few months back up in Napa on the road, and then they stopped at the same winery we had stopped at. The one in the lead position was in original condition, no new paint job, no new interior, it was ragged but a real beauty.

Ford actually built a handful of brand new Model T’s a few years ago to be used at the Ford Greenfield Village Museum.

OMG. How DID we survive the 80's? And don't forget that every piece of clothing, except our Sergio Valente Jeans, was polyester! It's a miracle we didn't go up in flames on a daily basis!

I’m 5 foot 8 inches tall. I got measured in the 80’s and without pushing down the top of my hair.. I stood 6 foot tall. Add some heels, I was an Amazon!

I remember the girls dressed like that at my school. I didn’t like it then, either. The pancake makeup that made them look like Tammy Faye Bakker clowns was the coup de grace.
