I binge watched a couple seasons of Adam-12 a while back and had the same thoughts.
However, I do think that most cops do want to protect and serve and act as peace officers.
While there is a need for riot training and gear, it should be used very infrequently.
Our Sheriff Department has two HUMVEE’s that they only use for floods and SAR. That’s the way it should be.
Is that the SEIU purple.....?
I hear they’re going to remake “Car 54, Where Are You?” with Barney the Dinosour reprising the Fred Gwynne role.
Or maybe “The Andy Griffith Show” with Barney the Dinosaur replacing Barney Fife.

I looked for satire but didnt see it. Glad to hear it, in this day and time I never know when something very stupid from DoJ is real.
This site is a satire of the current state of Law Enforcement, Fire Fighting and Emergency Medical work. Stories posted here are not real and you should not assume them to have any basis in any real fact. Heck we tend to leave in spelling and grammer errors just to prove we is not the professional media. No reference of an individual, company, or government entity seeks to inflict malice or emotional harm.
