Vanity: Replacing our God-given rights with godless rights

The thought occurred to me last night that the left is hard at work replacing our God-given rights with godless rights.

Think about the rights our Christian Founding Fathers enumerated and how those rights were assumed to have existed long before the advent of government and kings.

We have the rights to speak freely, to defend ourselves even from our own government, we have the right to own property, we have the right to say who can be on our property, we have the right to travel without having to explain to anyone else what we're doing, and etc.

The left wants all of those God-given rights replaced with a new set of rights:

A right to health care, a right to an income, a right to never be offended, a right to a job, a right to housing, a right to gender equality, a right to be a sexual deviant, a right to an equal outcome in life no matter how lazy one is, a right to silence opinions and values we don't agree with, a right to kill off people when they're inconvenient (unborn, elderly, sick, etc.), and etc.

The rights from time immemorial come from God and are presumed to be beyond the reach of government to take away.

These new 'rights' are facilitated by government and can be erased with the stroke of a pen.

In short, if you think about it, the left wants to replace the God of Abraham with the God of Marx: The Almighty State.

And they're replacing our God-given rights with godless rights.

Liberals would have this country burn if they would be Kings of the Ashes.

This is a concept that is difficult for rational people to understand. A rational person says, “But, they would just have ashes.” The power addict looks at it and says, “I get to CONTROL the ashes.”

The Soviet Constitution circa 1936 (The Great Experiment as it was referred to by Western Leftists)

Chapter 2:

Article 3. Its fundamental aim being abolition of all exploitation of man by man, complete elimination of the division of society into classes, merciless suppression of the exploiters, socialist organization of society, and victory of socialism in all countries, the Third All-Russia Congress of Soviets of Workers', Soldiers' and Peasants' Deputies further resolves:

Pursuant to the socialization of land, private land ownership is hereby abolished, and all land is proclaimed the property of the entire people and turned over to the working people without any redemption, on the principles of egalitarian land tenure.

All forests, mineral wealth and waters of national importance, as well as all live and dead stock, model estates and agricultural enterprises are proclaimed the property of the nation.

The Soviet laws on workers' control and on the Supreme Economic Council are hereby confirmed in order to guarantee the power of the working people over the exploiters and as a first step towards the complete conversion of factories, mines, railways and other means of production and transportation into the property of the Soviet Workers' and Peasants' Republic.

The Third Congress of Soviets regards as a first blow at international banking, financial capital, the Soviet law on the annulment of loans negotiated by the governments of the tsar, the landlords and the bourgeoisie and expresses confidence that Soviet power will be advancing steadfastly along this road until the complete victory of an international workers' uprising against the rule of capital.

To ensure the sovereign power of the working people and to rule out any possibility of restoration of the power of the exploiters, the arming of the working people, the creation of a socialist Red Army of workers and peasants, and the complete disarming of the propertied classes are hereby decreed.

Megan, The left is replacing God given natural rights with government issued grants of privileges and entitlements which can be suspended at the whim of the current administration. Privileges and entitlements granted by an organization can be removed by the granting organization when ever it deems it convenient or necessary to do so.

Rights, which belong to us because they were bestowed upon us by means of the gift of God, cannot be removed, exempted, suspended, or taken from us by any act of man, government, or group of men who can only kill you to deprive you of those Rights.

Yes, they want the creation of the God State - from the state all things come and to the state all loyalty is given.

Is sad that so many sold their souls for the price of an ‘obama phone’. Some peoples’ souls can be bought cheap.

It is even sadder that so many these days deny the existence of their souls.

Great comparison/example of what we’ll trade our freedoms for...just for government *security*.

The Great Experiment is not so great...wake up America!

The Founders thought it unconscionable the state would tax them without representation. King George III proclaimed them to be in rebellion and threatened their lives and their property. The Founders determined they had a God-given right to declare their independence from tyranny.

It is time for a convention for America to re-establish our God-given rights against tyranny, corruption, and lawlessness.

Oddly enough, Gov George Pataki was stating something similar, on Hannity’s show yesterday. He was being interviewed because of his announcement that he’s running for Prez.

It was strange...Pataki was saying all the right things on most of the topics they covered....from state’s rights to foreign policy to stopping the islamification of our country. I’ve always known him to be a RINO...I guess he brushed up before his announcement?
